Evin at Essential Wellness is wonderful! She helped me with back pain I had from a car accident.

So, a 30-minute massage is $40. Mine was cut short by 13 minutes. I complained and the woman told…read moreme to give her a $10 tip. I explained that she didn't even give me the entire 30-minutes. She again tried to get me to give her a $10 tip and then grabbed my crotch. This is a low class massage place and my guess is one that operates in an inappropriate manner. No English whatsoever and a lure for paid sex. If you're curious and give them a try, you just might find yourself in the middle of a police raid.

The woman does not speak any English, but I could discern that she did not offer gift cards. She talked me into a massage, which I agreed to. She would only do a 30 minute job for $40. I pulled out my credit card. After several minutes of trying to communicate, I understood that she did not accept credit cards. I went to my truck to grab $40 and returned. She took me in the back, and then again through broken English, tried to explain that the massage was $40 but I would have to tip her $10. I told her I did not have an extra $10, but probably had $6 or 7. She reluctantly agreed to do the massage. I looked at the clock when we began. I took my shirt off, but kept my shorts on. She spent most of the time on my shoulders and back. Never spending any time on my arms or legs. When she told me I was done, I glanced at the clock and saw that only 20 minutes had elapsed. We argued about that and she said it was 30 and pointed to the hand on the clock. I told her she was wrong. I began to walk out, but she said she would do an extra five minutes for a $10 tip. Again, I told her I did not have $10. Again, she reluctantly agreed for the additional five minutes. The additional five minutes sucked as well. When I was done, she said he really by waiting for that extra money for her tip. I wished her well walked out the door. By all appearances, this is a crooked operation, and my guess is she does not pay any taxes whatsoever since she only deals in cash. I would steer clear of this place, for fear of it being raided by law-enforcement. Seriously, find another reputable location.

It's not like a business you can walk in anytime, all therapists work by appointments only. There isn't a receptionist. You can book a consult call, but no one is there to answer a call at all times. Booking online is pretty seamless. I've had a few massages, most recently with Lisa. She was great, I'd book with her again for sure. The massage rooms are in bedrooms, very nicely decorated with that serene spa feeling. I've been spending more of my time at Neuma primarily in Shay's yoga and yoga Pilates classes semi-regularly for the past 6 months. Shay is a wonderful teacher, very welcoming and knowledgeable. As an overweight person with anxiety about fitness spaces, I feel comfortable in Shay's classes. The yoga classes take place in the remodeled garage space behind the main house. I believe the class limit is 12, and when full it can be tight, but Shay always adjusts the class to ensure you're not running into your neighbors. They provide blocks, straps, blankets, weights and mats if you need them. Most students take their own mats, but I forgot mine once and was very grateful they had one on hand for me. To sign up for a class, go to the Neuma website, the group classes and click on the individual teachers names. You'll be redirected to a website to sign up and pay. $10 a class or 10 classes for $85 for Shay's classes.

Update to my review; this is apparently the policy that massage envy has in place which to me is…read morean unacceptable business practice. Their manager did call me and explain that everything I was told is correct and did not seem to really care. So, I will not be continuing to do business with them any further and they will lose my wife as a customer as well. Bad policies and no desire to do anything about it has caused the entire situation and loss of business. The customer service staff is horrible and the "policies" that the business has are ridiculous. I have been a member for over a year and not had too much of a problem. I pay each month and get my massages. Well this last month my membership fee was not paid and I have 1 1/2 credits left. Enough for a 90 minute massage. I had said 90 minute massage scheduled and was told that I couldn't use the credits I have already paid for because my account is suspended due to the lack of monthly payment (there was fraud on my card and the card was blocked. Plenty of money to pay the monthly service charge, just haven't gotten my new card yet). In order to use those credits I would have to pay the monthly fee and then my account would be unsuspended. Then I can cancel my account and have 60 days to use my credits. Confused yet?! Gotta pay them another month to have access to use credits that have already been paid for. Sounds like a bunch of garbage to me. The girl at the front desk was basically talking in circles and didn't understand the lunacy of such a policy. When I asked to speak to a manager apparently none of them are available to speak with either. So in short, Tara, or whatever her name is up front managed to tick off a regular customer enough for me to cancel my membership and take the time to post a review about how dumb their policy is. I'm currently waiting to see if a manager calls me back to try and keep me as a customer or if they are willing to let a regularly paying customer go. We shall see.
