I've been training at Quest for over a dozen years, and what started as "this looks fun" has turned…read moreinto one of the most empowering parts of my life. The classes are an amazing workout, they've given me real self-defense skills, and they've helped me build confidence. And now that I'm a mother of two, I really appreciate the chance to spend time with other adults! Mr. Edwards has a genuine gift for working with young kids--patient, energetic, and somehow magically able to keep a whole room on track. And Mr. Seah's classes are structured, engaging, and always a blast! Quest is so amazing, that we recently enrolled our eldest daughter In less that a year, she has become more confident, coordinated, and focused. She even brings the respect and discipline home. Hearing a tiny "Yes ma'am!" at bedtime is adorable Quest has become a second home for our family.

The instructors are patient, kind, and really know how to work with kids. They've found the perfect balance between structure and fun, and you can tell they truly care about each student. My kids are always excited to go to class. Their confidence has grown so much, they're learning important life skills, and they're having a blast while doing it. It's been such a great experience for our whole family. The vibe is always positive and respectful, and we've seen real growth in our kids. If you're looking for a karate studio that's supportive, fun, and full of amazing people, this is it. Highly, highly recommend!

VMAC is the best karate place you will find in the valley. My son has been learning karate 2-3…read moreyears. And I must say, it's been a wonderful and rewarding experience. The senseis are so devoted and take the discipline seriously. If you want your child to be challenged and grow, this is the place but if you're the kind of parent who wants a trophy for just showing up, this is not it. The senseis are disciplined, honest, respectful and fair. My son has learned alot of skills and values from VMAC. The prices are also reasonable compared to other places. We also love the families and have created good friendships and a community. My son even loves showing up by himself. I no longer have to remind him. Thank you sensei Eiko, Taichiro, Manny and Jon! You're doing amazing work!

It is amazing for me to think back on how she looked initially and how she is doing now. My daughter is a quiet, soft-spoken person, and karate has given her more confidence. She takes a lot of pride in what she is doing and loves to show family all that she has learned. I appreciate the patience and kind words of encouragement she receives during class as well as the critiques, as it helps her improve her skills and gives her something to work on at home. I would recommend VMAC to any parent and only hope that more kids join and find as much joy as my daughter has being here.

It motivates people to practice, it encourages learning from mistakes, it builds patience and resilience. I love we can practice with any ranks. Black belts get better when they can break down moves at different levels based on individuals level. It shows knowledge and understanding. Those without black belts get to learn directly with black belts to ensure accuracy and expose to variations and styles. I also appreciate the beliefs Aikido brings into the dojo, especially if dojo practices and teaches each member to take care of the dojo. Lastly, I have visited many different dojos and styles, the one thing I am looking for is the ability practice even if I am in my 80s, if it cannot support me while I am aging, then it is not a style that considers life seriously nor long term. If you see a dojo that has people from all ages and walk of life, something to take note. People are serious and it's doable.
