At his recommendation I called an electrician. Who then did diagnostics. He only charged $125.00. However he Determined my problem was not electrical. So I called Atlantic Well...who quickly replaced my Well Pump and resolved my problem! So not only did Hancock misdiagnose my problem (charging $315) but then I unnecessarily had to pay an electrician. Atlantic Well's labor to replace the Well Pump was less than Hancock's diagnostic fee. But what really upset me was the estimate Hancock gave me to replace my pressure switch and gage (if I needed one later) was a WHOPPING $730.00!! I've had them replaced before. The parts were $150 and labor $100. $250 TOTAL! It only takes maybe one hour. This company should be ASHAMED at how they rip people off. I honestly can't get over it. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I am sure they had many other calls that day--units 'always' break at inopportune times... However, within 20 minutes they responded to a voice mail and had a senior technician (Mike) to the house within the next 30 minutes--less than an hour from our initial call. He did a thorough analysis of the issue, clearly described his findings and let us know next steps. Back at the office they worked up various options, called us early the next day, clearly explaining everything, including cost and timing. A day later parts arrived and Mike was at our house first thing in the morning, at the scheduled time. While he was completing the exterior installation, he noticed an interior valve that wasn't working correctly, ordered that and set up the final check. These are really good people. They communicate clearly. They complete the work efficiently, expertly and in a timely fashion. If you need HVAC work and want trustworthy contractors--call them!

I call Jason(the owner) at the above referenced number. Turns out he's from Denton/Easton, which is an hour and a half away. He quotes me a flat rate of $250 to snake the main sewer line of the house. I figure I can probably have someone locally do it for about the same amount, so I decline based on the timeframe and call Roto Rooter here in Salisbury. Feel free to look up that poor review for I won't rehash it here. But the snapshot is I got the extreme upsell from them, with no topside dollar figure, so I told them 15 minutes into their stay to pack it up and I called Jason Banks back. He was out at my home, same day, with two helpers. He was extremely knowledgeable, respectful to a fault, as well as his helpers, sirs and ma'am's, rarely see that anymore(!), and fixed the problem in 40 minutes! Any logical rational person knows that someone working "by the hour" has no vested interest in getting done any faster than necessary. A flat rate has no downside risk, except to the worker. As it turns out, he was so quick and efficient, I'm sure he made good margin on his efforts, even coming from EASTON! And to be honest, I was more than happy to pay him for her services, and him allowing me to pick his brain just a bit to prevent further occurrences. He was truly a joy to do business with! I simply can't recommend highly enough!
