I have been going to Essensuals for 4-5 times now and have been getting my hair coloured. This time I wanted a trim, stint and highlights. I have never had issues with them and quite liked their work. After 4 hours I was given a bill where things were added to my bill without my knowledge, there were other discrepancies in the bill were certain things seemed inconsistent and frankly overcharged, just added on for reason. When I questioned about a certain toner and few other charges I was given an attitude by the staff, that these are Tony & Guy prices you should know. On top of that she said I am an art director you shouldn't have asked for me if you want something cheaper. I was very clear I didn't want an art director they said we will give whoever is free, I didn't know that she was an art director. I complained later, the next day, as by the time I had finished they were closing. The customer service people were very friendly and apologetic and said the manager would call back. The manager Tony called me back, and immediately he attacked me, there was no apology or trying to understand the issue, it was straight away you accusations allegations, his behaviour and attitude was unbelievable and horrendous. I was shocked at the way he w talking. All I asked was why the extra things added to my bill without my knowledge? And discrepancies in prices that has no explanation. Clearly he had no explanation which is why he thought raising his voice and side tracking the conversation and provoking me for a fight will help put a close to the matter. At the end of it I have been overcharged with no reasonable explanation, assigned a stylist I didn't want, and the color is wrong. I asked for a copper brown and I got a red. When I asked her that it looks too red she said oh you just wash it and the colour will fade,....are you kidding me? I wanted refund of the additional things I had no idea they had used nd slipped in without my consent or knowledge. Of a bill of £255 I asked £60 to be refunded as there were things I didn't ask for, but he was rude and clearly refused and denied, also ins uniting I knew, hence calling me a liar.
I have been to other essensuals T&G before, but It is the worst experience I have ever had, and its the worst place to go, shame few unprofessional people bringing the name down of Tony & Guy. The HO should really check how these people treat customers and what's really going on here. Never going back their again for sure! read more
