A wonderful, holistic, unpretentious and friendly place tucked away in the Crystal Palace Triangle…read more Forget your groupon 'deals' and trendy salons, come here for a local, well priced treatment. My Mrs bought me a deep tissue massage as part of my 25th birthday with Marion who is also a Medical Herbalist. It was really needed after a week of excesses and was a great experience. While this place is called The Little Escape, it feels a bit more of a home away from home with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. They have such a wide offering of alternative treatments and holistic remedies you would be hard pressed to find something you didn't want to try. I know for sure the Mrs will be back to try some of the other treatments that come highly recommenced. Thank you The Little Escape for a great experience.

The Little Escape is a small, perfectly formed oasis tucked back in the Crystal Palace Triangle…read more I've been there for life coaching, talks, and a chair massage so far. The people there are incredibly nice and welcoming, and they offer a full range of therapies (talking, massage, reflexology, meditation, acupuncture, etc.). You can book online whenever you want, which is a big plus when you decide at 11:30pm that you really want a massage the next day. I've found them to be very accommodating to walk-ins too. Just check the website first for the schedule of when therapies are offered.

They do everything from: Body wax Pedicure Manicure Eyelash extensions Crystal Gel Acrylic You can just walk in without appointment but you would have to wait an hour... So best to book an appointment . Weekends they are really busy.

As part of my 25th Birthday, the Mrs bought me a Manicure here at Crystal Nails…read more I've never had a Manicure. I didn't know what was going to happen to me. I'm glad she booked me in because on a Sat afternoon, it was very busy with walk-ins. It's not a chatty establishment. There's no - 'So where are you going on holiday this year' chat. I had never appreciated just how technical painting your nails can get. After soaking my hands and having my cuticles pushed and pulled from my fingers (I think) I was a little bit in awe of the Military Precision that went into making my Manicure-Virgin Hand turn into Shiny Shiny pretty nails. The woman doing my nails seemed like she ran the place and was very - direct with me. I think I kind of liked it.... I'm not a massive girly girl in that way so I don't think a manicure will be a regular thing for me. But if I get invited to a wedding or something I think I'd spend the £10 to have my hands sorted out and pretty. There are a whole range of other things they offer - the pedicure looks pretty good. All at reasonable prices and without the painful small talk.

I've been here a few times now to have various treatments…read more Plenty of car parking available. Slight hassle with getting through to the spa area as it is located within the David Lloyd gym so you have to wait for someone on the gym reception to let you through by informing them you are only going to use the spa. Once in, you head through their cafe area (nice to stop by but that is another review!) and into the spa area. Receptionist here are generally very helpful and friendly. I think you have to pre-book any treatment but there is an array of goodies, creams, nail polishes, etc which you can purchase at any time. As I say, I've had a variety of treatments as well as having a spa day. They have a nice pool area with sauna, sanarium and steam room available along with pool, plunge pool, headed relaxation beds and relaxation pool! On the odd occasion where for whatever reason a treatment didn't happen right or something went wrong with the booking, they have always offered alternatives freely or extend the treatment duration so hard to be annoyed with it. Accommodating men and women and do teenagers although they are not allowed in the pool area until aged 18 I think. This is a nice local spa and nicer than some of the ones I've been to in Town. Defo come back again and again.
