Gotta love Italian Olive Oil. Then some nice salami. Really good, far from being mass-produced. Then some jams and chutneys - they go very well with Italian cheese. A very nice shop. Prices might seem a bit higher. But this is not a chain shop. This one really has great, special food items not easily found at other shops. And definitely worth the money.

Then our mains were a butter sage ravioli and porcini mushrooms pasta. All cooked perfectly and very tasty. Service by a young man was prompt and he was friendly. He guided us through a salami selection and made us taste different cheeses with assorted pairings. He then informed us of the different olives, tomatoes and breads. We walked away with salami, pesto, focaccia, mozzarella, olives, olive oil soaked tomatoes all for about 40 euros... we could not have been happier that we stopped in and were treated to his expertise! What a great local treat this was, a fantastic end to our day in Lucca!
