Mentally and financially stressed out!! Move out after three months. My previous unit got flooded and was transferred to a new unit which is a roaches' nest. While fixing the issue with my flooded unit, I was told that I had to move out immediately since they needed to take down the ceiling. Facing anxiety and depression, I lost a place to stay and had to stay in my car one night when I killed 10 roaches after two pest controls in the new unit. The leasing office team are nice but the senior manager didn't do anything and still stingy on the compensation. No compassion at all. Now I have no where to stay and am mentally and financially damaged. I kept asking but no response at all. Be careful if you are gonna rent 2065. That whole building stinks. read more

Have spoke to the office management/HOA management about this problem numerous times. also no maintenance on the tree trimming on the property. huge problem with dog waste. I absolutely HATE HATE HAAAAAATE this community. Before I get into it, Elvis, Adia and the office manager (I can't remember her name) have been so great. I loved this place when I moved in 3 years ago but it's gone down hill and the rents gone up. This place has turned into the GHETTO. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. Kids vandalizing, poisoning pets, littering, running up and down the halls, screaming outside and so disrespectful at the pool. The GYM sucks as well. I've complained about the machines breaking down numerous times. Probably for the past two years and they haven't replaced them. There also aren't any free weights. If you're going a decent speed, the elliptical will randomly stop and you could possibly injure yourself and fly off. When the sprinklers turn on at the park one of them points straight at my car INSTEAD OF THE GRASS. I had gotten a brand new paint job and the water STAINED my car!! I complained and nothing was done. Oh wait, there's more!! If the fire alarm is pulled, it's at least an hour before someone can come fix it. One summer most of my building had to stand outside because the alarm was so obnoxious. Another time all of our power went out, so if you're a normal person the refrigerates their food it went bad. My newest issue is the door leading into my building. It's been broken for MONTHS!!! And just keeps getting worse. First off, you need a key fob to get in. But these Hoodrat kids keep breaking it therefore you have to use serious force to close it behind you. How the hell am I supposed to feel safe if ANYONE can get in my building?! Not just that but when the gates leading into the community are broken, it's at least a WEEK OR LONGER before they're fixed. So again, ANYONE can get in. Including my ex who was waiting at my door one night. Lastly, the smaller gate to get in keeps breaking as well. So if you're trying to get in DONT bother using the code, just hop the gate and risk spraining you're ankle. In conclusion, I'd rather be homeless than live here. I pay $1329 for my 2bd/2bath when I could pay the same or a little more and live in a house. Don't waste your time. Matter of fact, stay at Budget Suites instead. read more

This complex uses a scumbag towing company, Ashley's Towing, to come prey on their tenants, they come in the middle of the day, at night, doesn't matter, to harass the tenants, the tow company damaged my truck when they hooked it up because it has a small coolant leak, when their are leak spots in every single parking space out there and yet a two car garage with 3 cars trying to fit in when the third car is 3 feet into the street doesn't get harassed at all. I don't even feel safe enough to run something up to my apartment without being harassed. I came out and told the towing company, when they showed up at 5pm, I would move it and they charged me $200 to move their truck so I could move mine off the property. Meanwhile the hot tub doesn't work at the pool, the bathrooms at the clubhouse are a disaster, this is a typical company that doesn't give a sh*t about their tenants just want their money and to line their pockets with sleazy company's like Ashley's Towing, while neglecting taking care of the property. I would strongly recommend you look for another complex, I will be moving out as fast as I possibly can. read more

Esplanade Office staff are nice and pleasant except for one young lady she just over talks you and will cut you off while you're talking. Otherwise the office staff are pleasant. The property needs some tidying for what they charge in rent. There are soooo many parked out of order cars on the property which looks bad with dust and leaves and spider webs that have been parked in the same place for over a year, and no up to date tags. Several building doors and code boxes continuously are out of order. Lots of noisy neighbors and loitering on the property. Inside of the unit can esthetically use some upgrades especially in comparison to the competition around. Not horrible but, they need to take care of some things. read more

Love living here. The girls in the office are amzing and friendly. I love when they have community functions like today. Nanette and Adia were very kind to my kids. Ive been here for 5 years. Ive had seldom maintenance issues that resolved quickly by Elvis and most recent Jason. I would highly recommend this place for couples or small families. read more

Warning...I lived here with someone for almost 2 years and was never once late with rent. Lately there are so many loud kids around. Hanging around my driveway, trying to break into my garage. Finally, we decided to leave after roaches started showing up and the kids trying to break into the garage scared me to death. Management said, "we can't really say anything to them" and "you didn't complain enough". Now, management is charging me for leaving a month early (for my safety), even after they have begun showing the apartment during the month I paid for. They have been leaving the doors unlocked as they show it (without telling me they're going in). Now, we have things missing. Don't live here, unless you want to be broken into and you like huge roaches along with management that leaves your front door completely unlocked for more of the same. read more

We have been property owners at Esplanade since 2008 when we purchased a unit for our daughter who was a student at UNLV. Since then, our daughter continues to live there and we have been extremely pleased not only with the management but also with how expertly maintained the grounds and facilities have been, even throughout the "housing meltdown". Our HOA has only gone up by about 25% in 12 years which is minimal. We feel that our daughter lives in a safe and beautiful environment. We have paid off the property and have no plans to sell. The management has always been responsive to the few issues we have had. The negative reviews are a mystery to me and, as some of the replies indicate, there is indeed another side to these stories. read more

Been living here for over a year with my girlfriend the community is nice but one person in the management team is very rude i tried calling Conam but they havent picked up or called back on my issue. One particular person in management has been very rude and unprofessional, she couldnt give me any answers on some issues about my fob key nor my gate key and the problems with the gates and the gym when we first moved. The HOA here is ridiculous you cant have any satellites on your building whatsoever, if your paying thousands of dollars to stay at a place wouldn't you want management to accomadate your stay in there community. I was really mad when i asked one of the management team about satellites on our building and she completely ignored me and gave me attitude like she didnt want to talk to me. There's a lot of problems with this place especially with the security on sight. After midnight I went to the gym, it's good that it's 24 hours but when i went into the gym I caught the security gaurd sleeping in the kitchen on a chair. They need to get better security gaurds on property securing the area not sleeping in the gym. Me and my girlfriends lease is ending soon this year idk if we would like to stay here any longer. Its too pricey and the HOA rules suck here. There are better places in Las Vegas that has a management team that is professional and know what is going on with the property and know how to accomadate with there residents on their property. And a lot of places have better amenities and have 24 hour gyms with better equipment and 24 hour club house and pools. Seriously if you're going to pay thousands of dollars to stay at a place that has terrible service, amenities and stupid HOA RULES... THEN GOODLUCK, hopefully Conam can step up and make some changes to change me and my girlfriends mind. Well we will see we have a few more months on our lease. read more

The problem is there is a new HOA and a new management company and between the two, nothing gets fixed around here because they both point the finger at the other. Numerous gates are broken throughout the community and have been for months. The gates at the pool are broken & anyone can get in, including all the unsupervised kids that roam in and out all day. It is completely unacceptable and irresponsible that anyone can access the pool at anytime. Also, their pet policy states 2 pets per condo under 50 lbs which is a lie. A woman in my building moved in with a bullmastiff and a pitbull, both weighing well over 50 lbs. the same woman who doesn't keep them on a leash! Are you kidding me? There's children all over this community & I am not taking any chances with 2 dogs that are well known for attacking people. I've had enough of this place. It's no longer an upscale community. It's rundown, overpriced with an HOA & management company unwilling to take any responsibility in the upkeep. read more

*Warning* DO NOT move here! This establishment is a joke! I lived here for 2 years and didn't have any problems while I was there other then my car being towed once. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone minded there own business. The property it's self was decent looking however the women working in the front office are shady. I was fooled and tricked thinking they were sweet and nice. I moved out February on the 3rd because my new place was ready on the first. They property manager in the front told me I could stay till the 9th and it would cost x amount of money. I informed her that my place was already ready to go and that I was moving on the third we both verbally agreed to that date for me to move out, she kept my security deposit to pay for the few extra days that I was staying past the 1st of the month. On my move out date I cleaned everything and dropped the keys off in the front I asked them if I needed to sign anything or if they wanted to do a walk through of the apartment and she stated no it wasn't necessary. That was where I messed up! Never leave a property without getting something in writing with the date you moved out! Fast forward to the summer time and I keep getting random calls from ikue data Collection agency telling me that I owe eslpenade over 400 dollars for staying an extra week that wasn't paid for. You have got to be kidding me!! They already kept my deposit! I was furious I was a loyal tenant here for 2 years! Never gave them problems always paid the rent on time and this is what they did to me. What makes it even worse is that the ladies in the front knew the unfortunate incident that happened to me this year and the whole reason why I moved in the first place! I tried to call and speak with them but they never returned my calls, this has now gone on my credit and I have to try to fight it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! I highly suggest going through a private owner and renting a property that way because these apartments are just too damn inconsistent and heartless. Due to unfortunate circumstances with my first and last roommate, I have to say goodbye to this absolutely wonderful community! :( I've been here for 13 months and haven't had any problems. Of course throughout my stay I've had occasional maintenance issues (shower rod loosened, light bulb replacement, and air filters) non of which weren't answered and completed quickly. Elvis, the maintenance guy, is quick and always professional. The community is always kept clean and well groomed and there's a security guard that walks around at night! Not gonna lie, he's startled me a couple times as I've gotten out of my car late at night, but id rather it be him than anyone else! Lol The office staff.... Nanette & Adia, you ladies are always such in the best mood and always so welcoming. You're always helpful with anything i need, whether it be a package or just a question. Definitely isn't a surprise that I signed a new lease to your sister property @ the resort! Definitely will be sad leaving this property. I love living here! I searched all over vegas for the perfect place & I have found it. For the price, these apartments are huge. They're so clean & well kept. It's like living in a hotel, it's so cool. I rarely see my neighbors and everyone is pretty private. You get your own parking space. The management & maintenance are super nice & there for me if needed. The pool is really nice. The door to my building is weirdly unlocked but it's fixed the next day. Durango is a super busy street and hard to get across. The gym has basic machines. I would highly recommend!! read more

I was looking to lease an apartment and saw their website and decided to stop by. I got here a few minutes after 5:30 and they had the doors locked. I stood around thinking maybe they went on a tour or something. I even called the office phone hoping I could reach someone. Then a lady ended up walking past and I got her attention and she said they were closed. The business hours say they close at 6 pm. She said her assistant went to the bank and she's off.... very unprofessional! It really sucks because it looked very nice online and I was looking to move in immediately. read more

I really hate to give this place a 1 star. But, it always comes down to how you treat people. I called to schedule a tour. I loved what I was looking at online and wanted to see in person. Spoke to a nice gal named Sarah. She was so helpful and provided pricing for me and answered all my questions. She let me know I could come in and tour it. Unfortunately, the day I was able to she wouldn't be there. She informed me her property manager was so nice and I could come in anytime before 4. When my boyfriend and I arrived at 3 we were greeted and I let them know we wanted to tour a unit. They asked if I had an appointment and I said we were told we can come in before 4 by Sarah. The two women literally huffed and puffed out loud. Right in front of us, no shame AT ALL. I stood there in disbelief. They proceeded to say "Of course Sarah did. Of course!" And were talking shit about her, right in front of us. Like.... what?! So finally I spoke up and said, "we're clearly an inconvenience for you so we'll leave." Then they retracted and said "it's cause we just turned the lights off. Like literally just turned them off." ... and? You're telling me it's SUCH a big deal because you turned some friggin lights off? It's your job. You give people tours, you should not be surprised if someone comes in wanting to look at your property. I repeated myself a couple times letting them know they are making it very clear we are an inconvenience to them and they kept saying "no it's fine. It's fine". No apology or nothing. Just "it's fine." When I let them know we wanted a 3 bedroom but knew the 2 bedroom was only available to see, they said "she told you to tour the 2? It looks nothing like the 3, ugh." AGAIN with the huffing and puffing and talking shit. I didn't realize we were in high school still. Honestly, we should have left at this point. But, my curious mind wanted to still look. They offered to show us but were not convincing that it was okay to do so. We looked at the unit and it was very nice and spacious. To be honest, I loved the property. Everything was well kept and quiet. After we left I just couldn't get over how rude they were right in front of us. Even though I absolutely loved the property. I would never live here. I can only imagine how inconvenient I would be if a problem came up or if I had a question on a Wednesday. It blew my mind at the audacity and nerve of them. When Sarah said the property manager would be there and was "so nice". It made me sad. She probably doesn't even know they talk shit about her behind her back. Needles to say, If you like being treated terribly, this is the place for you. If you like people making you feel like you're an inconvenience, step on down! You only have to pay $1,800 a month for it. Would never recommend this place. read more

I came to view their apartments at 20 minutes to 6pm. As soon as I walked in I was told that the models were closed. She provided me with the info and when I asked if she honestly couldn't show me the apartments she said everything is closed up and she was about to leave. I didn't insist and will never rent from this complex. I've never had an experience like this at other properties. This is really disappointing as it seemed like a nice place. But if managers are to busy to accommodate prospective tenants I can't imagine how they attend to their current renters. read more

I miss living here. This is one of the best places to live in Las Vegas. The staff is so pleasant, Mary not so much. But all the other ladies are AMAZING! I always felt right at home pulling into the complex and when I needed to go to the office. We had to move due to a family emergency. If I had the opportunity to live here again, I would! Maintenance was always timely, grounds were always kept clean and you could never hear the neighbors! In the morning if you faces the right way you got an amazing view of the air balloon that would fly around the area. Just an over all beautiful location. LIVE THERE! I've recently visited several apartment communities in the Southwest as a favor to a friend relocating back to Vegas and found this one to be the best. I really liked that the buildings were enclosed with elevators. The leasing agent in the office was very helpful and took the time to explain to me reasons why my friend would like living at this community. I moved to Vegas about a year ago from California and figured that this place was nice since it was cheaper than my Carlsbad apartment. Now I realize that it's over-priced. You can rent a house for less than a "Manhattan or Tribeca" floor plan. It's a gated community but everyone and their mother can get up in here since there is a simple generic gate code that everyone knows, this includes the ice-cream truck that rolls in. There are a couple different entrances and the gate closer to where I live always seems to be stuck open in one way or another. If you stay up late you will see that weird shit goes on in the parking lot in certain areas. I have a buddy in law enforcement and I've had to give him a buzz a couple times to see what in the blue fuck has been going on out here. The management when I first moved here was good. Then they changed management with no announcement and changed the website which prevented me from paying online. I had to go in the office and see what was up. They added a room with computers to use for residents in the rental office and the printer would always seem to have an issue. You're better off renting a house and saving hundreds a month. Floor plan on the Manhattan and Tribeca are nice, but stick with a house. Preferably in Rhodes Ranch where "gated community" actually means something. read more

I went in to view apartments because I was very interested in what I saw online. The leasing agent carried on a full casual conversation with someone while I was in the leasing office and walked by me without even acknowledging I was there. If someone is busy I get that but at least greet the person and say it'll be a few minutes especially since it was not business talk. After a few minutes I was then greeted however she never gave me her name. She showed me the unit I was interested in and then when I had to ask to see the gym she said that I had walked past it when I first walked in.. She wasn't mean but certainly not interested in selling. I probably just caught her on a bad day but if the leasing agent isn't happy about the property or giving me information and prices why would I want to lease there. Very disappointed. read more

I have to start by saying I am new to yelp and this is my first ever review but hopefully not my last. I have lived in this amazing community for 2 yrs and I will sadly be saying goodbye in October not by choice but in need to a home for my growing broad. Anyway, back to my experience living here. It has been truly amazing the management is always friendly and professional. The maintenance is excellent any request is fixed in a timely manner. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Awesome atmosphere and great BBQ's poolside for the family in the summer!!!! I feel valued as a tenant and appreciated not just a rent check on the 1st but I feel that the staff truly care about us and want to give us a overall great living experience. Don't get me wrong or call me clique cause it is still a job and I get it that they are just doing theirs. However, they do it well and that's why a lot of my co workers live here and I have renewed twice already. The locale doesn't hurt either if you are into tons of restaurants, grocery stores, tons of great parks and shopping. If you are not into that sort of thing we'll sucks to be you!!! Lol..
