Where can I even begin! The academy itself is beautiful, it's zen like. Almost as if you're stepping into a meditative studio, except you're gonna be rolling around w the toughest people I know. The amenities are wonderful, clean bathrooms, a nice little gym in the back, and a dressing room. A big plus is that it's very clean and cozy!!! I went to up my game for self defense, but I stayed because of the people - especially our professor and his wife. Professor knows what he is doing, he's patient, attentive, and is willing to push you to become better. The classes are challenging but not impossible, and you're free to ask for more instruction. You can get Gi's, pants, rash guards, and all the team swag items like other clothing inside, so if you have nothing like I did you'll be taken care of. Professor Jeremy is a detailed teacher and makes sure the people just starting the skills understand what to do. He teaches sport jiu-jitsu used in competitions and has developed gold metal athletes in multiple tournaments... he also teaches potentially real life dangerous situations where you will be prepared to defend yourself.
