I have attached what builder gel looks like, it comes in a jar and you use a brush to apply to the nail, not gel polish, gel polish is not it. They did too much sanding on the nail bed, before applying gel polish, you do not need to drill so much when using the gel builder the proper way. (The white nails I had done in Jacksonville, Florida at Gloss Nail Lounge and the gentlemen did an exceptional job, it was my first time getting the gel builder with tips nail job done. Look how smooth and beautiful the nails and color are.)The pink nails done at SAVA Nail bar in Denham Springs look horrible.

I booked our appointments online, which was convenient, and we chose the Volcano Pedicure. It's nearly an hour and includes a volcano crystal bubble soak, sugar scrub, cream mask with warm towels, lotion massage, warm stones, and a paraffin wax treatment. I always add gel because it lasts significantly longer for me and is worth the upgrade. One of my favorite features is the private room, which accommodates up to three people. I recommend requesting it ahead of time if you're planning a girls' day. They offer beverages, the massage chairs are comfortable, and there are phone chargers at the seats. The polish selection is impressive! They have tons of books filled with colors, so there is no shortage of options. The salon itself is newer, spacious, and extremely clean. My one complaint is the parking lot. The spaces are very tight, and parking can become a problem if you aren't one of the first appointments of the day. Thankfully, there is additional parking behind the building. Our appointments were organized, we didn't spend a lot of time waiting for preparation, and the service was excellent. Between the cleanliness, private room, amenities, and quality of the pedicure, Sweetheart Nails 2 has become my preferred location. The Volcano Pedicure is definitely worth the splurge. I wasn't seated until 12:45, and the receptionist began my nail prep. After prep, I waited another 15 minutes before he realized my nail tech hadn't arrived and had to retrieve her from the pedicure area. I had booked a builder gel refill, but the tech initially brought an overlay kit, so I had to clarify my service. The polish color I requested, Sunny Bunny, was unavailable at this location, though the receptionist found a similar shade. The application was acceptable but not the neatest. I also requested to keep my existing almond shape but was charged an additional $5 for it. The total was $60. Due to the delays, poor communication, service mix-up, and extra charge, I left disappointed and probably won't return to this location.

At one point, one of my friends laughed and an employee told her to be quiet because "people come here to relax." I found that extremely rude and unprofessional, especially considering we were paying customers who had already been sitting around waiting far longer than we were originally told. I was finally helped around 5:50 PM, only 10 minutes before they close at 6:00 PM. Even after my pedicure was finally started, the service was extremely disorganized. One employee started my pedicure and then stopped in the middle of my service to go help another customer. A completely different employee came over and continued my pedicure, then he stopped as well, and the original employee eventually came back just to paint my toes. I was essentially passed back and forth between employees after already waiting over an hour to even be serviced. I understand that businesses get busy, especially on weekends, but I arrived an hour and 35 minutes before closing, which is a completely reasonable amount of time to come in for a service. If they did not have enough time or staff to accommodate me, I would have much rather been told that when I arrived instead of being quoted 45 minutes, left sitting in a pedicure chair for an additional hour, and then passed between employees once my service finally began. Overall, the lack of communication, extremely long wait, disorganized service, and the way we were treated made this experience very disappointing and unacceptable. If you cannot properly accommodate a customer before closing, be upfront about it instead of having them wait around for nearly an hour and a half and then rushing and switching employees throughout their service.
