I didn't know that and did 2 orders of the full wings. I finished it, but it was a lot of food. Both the wings, and the fries were really good! The bathroom pretty gross, but other than that everything was great!

Based upon my love of Wings, my wife found this place while in Edinburgh and we knew we had to give…read moreit a try. We decided to come in here one day for lunch. The theme inside was kinda surprising. It had a lot of movie and tv references, the most prominent being Star Wars. We also watched someone try their heat challenge. I'll just say I felt bad for the guy. We asked the waitress afterwards and she said not many pass. Most fail after 2-3 wings. Their normal heat selection goes from 1-8, but their heat challenge goes up to 11. For our food, I tried the Margarita wings, located in their "boozy" section. I really enjoyed these as they had a lot of flavor. I also got a side of mac and cheese, and chose chipuffalo sauce - a combo of chipotle and buffalo - it added a great flavor to the mac and cheese with just the right amoumt of heat. The other wings I tried were the Bit of French, which is garlic pepper flavored. It was actually really bland. I ended up dipping them into the remaining chipuffalo sauce. The restaurant is in a lot of stone, so you get almost no cell service. Just an FYI.

I think it is important for us to include in the review if the establishment is halal as we also have a lot of Muslim Yelpers and friends who would love to know that and we can help them in selecting restaurant. Zuhus has a menu very much like Nando's. Or shall I say 'exactly' like Nando's. It's basically mainly peri peri based chicken, burgers and wraps. I came here twice but only had the peri peri chicken. The guy who served me was very accommodating. I ordered half a chicken but with 2 quarter chicken legs and he gave it to me. The taste of he chicken was up to scratch and the meat itself was juicy and tender. The size of the chicken I believe is slightly bigger than what Nando's is serving, which is of course a value for money. They have won my points on all aspects on value, taste and portion. However, they have lost my point on creativity and originality. This place is an exact replica of Nando's. From the menu, sauce and the bottle for the sauce (tall rectangular bottle). Why can't they come up with something more original? I would still recommend people to come here and definitely be back again myself.

If wanted, they also provide extra sauce that you can serve yourself. It's self serve so you must order at the till when ready. I would recommend this place, so why not give it a try?

We tried on our first week in Edinburgh and failed, but were able to make reservations 3 weeks out for our last night in Scotland, and we are glad we did. Pork cracklins were a bit hard and crunchy, but everything else was perfect. We had fresh bread and langostinis for starters, along with a smokey whiskey cocktail, the Smoked Indiscretion! For mains we enjoyed the poached Cod, and the Pork with Barley. Service was very good, and wine selection was extensive. Atmosphere was loud with music and locals' chatter in the bar below, but dark tables and heavy wood panels made it a perfect place for a couple celebrating 3 weeks of travel. Highly recommend a visit to the Devil's Advocate, if you can book a table in advance.

But they call these lessons, "character building," apparently. No matter, the Devil's Advocate is worth the search. Located in an old Victorian pump house halfway up (or down) Advocate's Close, the Devil's Advocate is known for a killer whisky shelf of more than 300 different bottles from various distilleries across the Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Campbelltown, the Islands, and Islay. I finally sipped on a 15-year Tamdu that has convinced me to keep a bottle at home. Then there's the Clydeside 2024 Limited Edition Cask Strength that was wicked impressive. The bartenders are class at making and serving seasonal and regular cocktails that have their spin and character. My wife enjoyed gin-based cocktails such as the Clean Slate (with St-Germain, citrus, and sugar), Rose Garden (with Yellow Chartreuse, Cocchi Rosa, apple, lemon, and mint), and Bee's Knees (honey and lemon). I went full speed ahead with the scotch cocktails, which are essentially classics with a scotch-substituted twist. The Double Shot is an Espresso Martini with Dalmore 12 in addition to Kahlua, espresso, and demerara -- quite smooth without being too sweet. The Scotzia is a Negroni with Fettercairn 12, while the Boxcar is a Sidecar only with Aberfeldy 12. We enjoyed the bar for a few hours, watching the bartenders make magic while sipping on cocktails, while listening to 80s pop tunes. A great evening indeed.

We were not very hungry and wanted to order one less main dish. She literally turned her nose up to us and rolled her eyes backwards, then told us that isn't allowed. She asked us if we wanted drinks and we didn't. Again she responded with disgust. Later we asked a doggie bag to take some food away - she responded with disgust. When was it wrong to drink water and ask for a carry away box? What did we do wrong to deserve such a crappy attitude? Out of the kindness of my heart, I even gave the lady a 5 pound tip. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a dining establishment. We will not be going here ever again, and recommend that if you want to be treated with respect to not come here. If you respect yourself, don't come here. You can find good Turkish food elsewhere, where they will not treat you like a cash machine. This is a terrible establishment.

When I told the waitress she said "yes, we soak it in meat. You didn't tell me you were vegetarian." We started with a couple of their local draft beers, the chilaquiles(special) and the elote. The chilaquiles were delicious! Very flavorful but all the chips were quite soggy and a little thick. We also got a hot sauce on the side which was divine! It was spicy and had a great taste as well! The elote was sweet, juicy and the spices it was covered in were delicious! For our meals we got the steak and chorizo tacos, cauliflower tacos, Baja cod tacos and the pork carnitas tacos. All of the tacos were delicious! Again, the tortilla was a little thick, which was nice but it was falling apart a little. The cauliflower tacos already had a nice amount of spice to them. These were a great veg option for our vegetarian. The steak and chorizo tacos were interesting as it seems they were blended into a crispy pan fried patty and the sauce it came with was incredible. The cod tacos were my favorite! The fish was well seasoned, super crispy and very light! The sauce it was served with was rich abs tasty as well. I wasn't a fan of the pomegranate but that was my fault--should have ordered without it. They did not have any dessert. The service was also so great! The staff is very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

They have good specials and we ordered their two taco special. The beef in the tacos was on the tough side and definitely could have been more tender. Overall this was a disappointing stop and I likely wouldn't come again.
