Doctor Stone is pleasant, knowledgeable and was a great help with my eye issues. I had a 4 pm…read moreappointment and was told to come at 3:45 for paperwork, even though I've been there before and it took literally 2 minutes to fill that out. I wasn't seen until after 4:15 and was in with the doctor until almost 4:50. At that time, I was sent out to the office to pick out frames and order glasses. I was planning on getting 2 pairs and was trying on frames when one of the employees shut the lights out because they closed at 5pm. I couldn't see to try on the frames. I asked sarcastically if they wanted me to come back another time, although I work a 40 hour a week job and had to take time off to make that 4 pm appointment. No one said anything. The gentleman went and turned the lights back on and said to the other 2 ladies that he would stay. I felt pressured to hurry up picking out my frames and found it rather rude that they shut the lights out. Picking out glasses takes time, which they were very clear they didn't have any to spare. I took my prescription and left and I will not be back. They lost a yearly customer who purchases multiple pairs of glasses because they were bothered that the doctor didn't finish my exam until right before closing. The one woman even whispered to me that it wasn't my fault because the doctor liked to talk. Well guys, you sure made me feel like it was my fault and I won't be back. I work in a forward facing public service job and if any of my employees treated our patrons like I was treated at this office, they would be written up. Telling me to "have a good day" as I left shows how out of touch with customer service these people are. Obviously, I wasn't going to have a good day because they wasted my time and did not appreciate my patronage enough to keep the lights on.

Large selection of frames for eyeglasses and sunglasses and the quality is far above anything else I've seen at most of the other places. Add in the prices and convenience of the location and you've found a great place to go for an eye exam!!

Ok, the eye doctors who I have seen, there (Drs Plowmaker and Lape) are great at what they do. I…read morewish I could say that about how organized of an operation that place is. When I get an appointment, I expect to be seen within ten minutes of my appointment time. I was there over an hour, waiting. 3:50 appointment. I was seen at 4:55. You'd think oh, maybe they got backed up, right? Nope. There were people who came in after me, sat down for less than five minutes, and then were called back by the doctor I was to be seeing. Then you'd think...ok, maybe my procedure was really invasive, right? No, wrong again. she didn't even need drops. I didn't need a pressure check or measurements with the other staff member. No. She just needed to look into my eyes to see how they are healing from an issue that I was dealing with this month. It took her maybe a few minutes to look. I told her my appointment was at 3:50, not 4:50, and she seemed surprised. As in...she seemed like she thought my appointment really was at 4:50. This was the second time this happened in a matter of two weeks. Either they are extremely disorganized there or someone there maybe ought to consider glasses, because twice now I've been sitting there much longer than everyone else. It's not like I didn't try to say anything, either. I stood up by the desk, and the assistant comes out, looks at me and says, "I have your chart back here, already." Well yeah...you would have it back there..you had it back there for forty minutes. Then I saw the next person who came out who I guess happened to be the other doctor. I don't know her. I told her how long I've been waiting, "Well, you're not my patient, soo..." and walks away. I'm like, "Well, can't someone say something or find out what's going on?" Ignores me. In fact, I'm pretty sure everyone there knew how upset I was, but not one person acknowledged me to tell me why I had to sit there for an hour while everyone else was seen within 5 minutes of walking in the door. After I saw the doctor, suddenly random staff was like, "ok, as soon as she'd done with that person, she'll take you next," knowing that I was ready to ring out my glasses and contacts that I was also buying that day. That person took care of me when she said she was going to, and did ok. She was pleasant. Bottom line: It's a good place to go if you don't mind sitting there all day. I recommend checking in and then leaving the store and going over to Arby's having dinner, and then coming back, you'll be called back about 20 minutes later. Probably what I should have done instead of coming home three hours after my scheduled appointment time with a pizza, eating, going straight to bed.

I've never experienced the eye doctor side of it. The down side, and it's happened the 3 times I've come here for my son's glasses. Is their customer service. They have no receptionist so you stand there until one of the techs are available. And they are busy. And they bustle back and forth, to & fro, hither & yon. And they don't seem to acknowledge you. And their phones continues to ring. Last week my son fell of his bike and broke his glasses. I took him to the vision center, and no lie, a good 15 minute wait to be even be personally acknowledged. Eventually Eric was his tech. Glasses couldn't be fixed so my son needed new ones. He picks them out. Luckily they were under warranty so the replacement cost was low. But Eric had a hard time ringing them up and had to get a supervisor to ....do whatever she needed to do. And she couldn't figure it out and had to call another supervisor for help. Customers are queuing in and no one is addressing the new arrivals and some leave muttering. Finally whatever the issue was, was corrected. (I wasn't made privy to what ever the issue was) so the tech just says "we'll call you when the new glasses are ready". ...... fast forward they call, glasses are ready. I come to pick them up. Same manner of waiting as previous but not as long. Jennifer is the Tech this time. She puts them on my son, makes adjustments..etc. then says "we need his old glasses before we can give you the new ones." (Because of the warranty) What?! No one mentioned this last week. Certainly not Eric. Why didn't he mention it? Why didn't he just keep them? I threw them away. I now had to go home and dumpster dive for the frigging things. Luckily my wife had put them in a ziplock. Even more lucky tomorrow was trash day. So now I back to the store, wait 10 minutes, trade glasses. ..... Jennifer was nice. It's not her fault. But this was BS. We will take our sons business elsewhere.
