We were seated in the fourth pew and the acoustics were very good in that location. The sermon was great and to the point. Beautiful basilica and very spacious. Candles are available to light on each side of the church. The pipe organ sounded beautiful from the balcony in the back of the church. The only thing that may be a challenge is there is only one restroom in the church.

Improve the skills of those that already have the basics down. They also teach English as a second language. They are dedicated to helping people improve their lives through literacy. Their classrooms Come in varied sizes so there are spaces for group learning as well as one on one experiences. The staff and volunteers are fabulous and always friendly. If you are looking for a wonderful place to volunteer your time, this could be your spot. Since they are a non-profit they host lots of fund raiser throughout the year. My favorites are the annual Gala. It always has a theme that the guests go all out for in dressing to match! The annual spelling bee contest that not only rewards the top spelling bee team, but also the best group costumes! Then my all time fav is the annual 12 Tastes of Christmas! Believe me when I say it's a blast and there is a reason the tickets sell out each year!

I cannot imagine it going any better. My first run, I did on my knees. Next, I was standing up. I ended up coming in and watching my family. My kids were standing up and looking so comfortable on the board. This was an amazing adventure - the small class size of 2 people to 1 instructor is dead on perfect! Check this out and have fun!

Even in less than optimal weather (rain and 40's) we had so much fun that we never noticed the weather. Would highly recommend!
