We used this line once and it was nice not driving from Clearwater to Port Miami. The bus was clean and comfortable. We made two stops on I75 to pick-up a few more passengers. The only downside was the pickup time, very early, return time very late. One tire had a blowout near Ellington Mall and we were taken there by another bus until the tire was replaced. If you don't want to drive for 5 hours or have a 14 day cruise (parking $308 + gas and tolls), take the bus. read more

Zero stars. Botched bus bungle. The bus stalled and couldn't be started. We had to wait an hour. Second driver arrived with handicap lift broken! The bus company knew in advance we had a handicap comrade. They didn't check it before they sent the bus. we had to wait an hour to get another vehicle to take one of our colleagues that was in a wheelchair. Finally when we got to Tampa the bus driver got lost three times. Had no idea how to get to the cruise ship. Be careful, don't get on the bus if they start with problems!! read more

On a friend's recommendation, we booked a ride on Escot to the cruise port on the other coast. Free WiFi that usually works. Kinda. I don't have to pay to park, and I don't have to drive. Sold! A clean bus arrived at our pick-up location on time. The driver assisted with luggage and we were off! We had to travel through some pretty remote areas to get to our destination, which is why the WiFi wasn't 100%. Not Escot's fault at all, but while it worked, it was enough to keep NetFlix going if not too many people were logged in. (Get the PW from the driver!) One concern of mine was the driver checking his phone on occasion and swerving over the lane markers. It only happened a couple of times, and not very egregiously. Just enough for me to take notice. Not the biggest deal in the world, and I won't turn it into one. Merely a concern, and one that was not repeated by the returning driver. Return instructions were simple and easy to follow. We were supposed to get stickers so their representative could more easily find us for our return trip, the the sticker thing didn't happen. We had enough information to easily find their representative and check in with her. No problem! The amount I paid Escot was only slightly more than what it would have cost me to park at the port. When I consider the cost of fuel for my gas-guzzler, and the fact that I didn't have to drive, it made the minimal cost difference well worth it. Now, that's about Escot. I haven't spoken about their clientele yet. I'm not sure what it was about the return trip, but rarely have I witnessed the spoiled brat attitude of the pensioner clients, who were incessantly complaining about the temperature, the A/C, the amount of stops, the length of stops, the location of the stops. One even exclaimed to the already-berated driver, "We've been on this bus since 10:00 and haven't had a break yet!" Upon checking my trusty time piece, I saw that this was only an hour. I ugly-eyed him and shook my head to get my point across, and he wasn't the only one to draw my ire. This guy actually got in the drivers face, shouting at him about how he was going to call management about the schedule. Even though the driver was attempting to maintain cool, we soon found ourselves on a bus that was uncomfortably warm, because he cut the A/C to try to make one guy happy, even after explaining to him how the vents worked on a bus. After we were all good and toasty, he kicked it back on again. One suggestion I have for Escot: Make it perfectly clear to these toolbags about the schedule and don't give them any room to complain. Or offer free drinks. Something to shut them up. Beyond that, I won't hesitate to take a ride with Escot for my next cruise. Consider them! read more

I am a teacher and we very often take Escot buses when we go on field trips. The 3 bus drivers we had this past week were AMAZING! Huge shout-out to Mr. Marcus C, Mr. Don C, and Mr. Chris A. They were kind, courteous, and they always asked what else they could do for us! We truly appreciate them taking us safely to our destination and always being early to wherever they needed to meet us! Our school, and me especially, will continue to take Escot buses on all of our field trips! In addition to having GREAT bus drivers, Janeanne, who helped me set up the dates/time we needed the buses, was such an asset to me! Absolute nightmare! Don't use them. Left the ship at 8am as directed. The bus arrived at 8:40 - which was okay. BUT...we sat idle until 11:30 waiting for 3 people who did not arrive yet. The entire busload was delayed for almost 3 hours!! Our butts were numb... there was no other recourse for us to take but to wait it out. They should have made other arrangements for these 3 and not hold up the entire bus. While we were waiting, the driver told us ANOTHER horror story from the day before, Was that to appease us? NO.... We will never use them again. read more

We took this bus from Naples to Tampa with 30 people to get a cruise ship and it was horrible on the way there the bus broke down in the parking lot before we even left then they had to bring a different bus when the bus finally got there they put us way behind schedule and then this derrange woman showed up and she was frazzled and seemed to be on drugs and she was claiming that she was the best driver in the company over and over again in she was neurotic bouncing around in seemingly under the influence of amphetamines then she got lost several times in Tampa downtown and kept getting back on the expressway in off the expressway and then A lady on the bus had to actually give her directions and use her navigation from her phone to help us get there then if you can believe it when we got on the bus to go back to Naples the handicapped lift broke and the woman in the wheelchair could not get on the bus terrible customer experience and Julie and Melissa didn't do anything to help us and they still demanded we get $5 a person for a tip is that a joke? I can't believe this company is still in business with their buses breaking down everywhere read more

we use these buses for our field trips because we drive an hour and we want a/c and to be able to put a movie on. every time the movie system "doesn't work" or "won't play". we ask WHEN we book and they assume us, but when the buses arrive the system is not connected and never works. it may seem like a small issue but when you seek out buses for this reason and they don't disclose it, it's extremely frustrating read more

Terrible! Beware! Our first bus broke down in the parking lot! Then we waited 30 minutes for a new bus. This new bus driver claimed to be their "best driver". She was deranged and kept talking about herself in the 3rd person. She kept texting on her phone therefore unable to see the navigation on her phone. So we were lost and nearly missed the chance to board the cruise ship. On the way back to Lely our bus broke down again and we sat in the parking lot for nearly 2 hours. Worst company ever! We are currently sitting in a parking lot at cruise terminal waiting for wheel chair ramp to get fixed! Trip here bus broken down, never stopped in promised stopped! Driver got lost going to cruise terminal! Driver was rude! Air conditioner broken, frozen entire trip to cruise terminal!!!! No communication from driver as to resolution! Took this bus from Venice Fl on Feb 18, 2018 and the trip to the cruise ship in Ft. Lauderdale when very good. The trip back was awful. This where things get out of control quick. The port has about six or more cruise ships and the bus is going around and trying not to miss anyone. Cruise Connections does give you clear directions but there is always the 10% that don't follow directions. The representatives from Cruise Connections can't find missing passengers and get them all in one place for pick up. They have no sense of customer service or communication skills. We had to stand and wait outside for two hours, with our luggage. The driver was rude and unapologetic. Next time we will drive & park or pay up for a car service. Very upsetting way to end a trip. read more

We had an event in Orlando for approximately 150 people. The buses were on time, clean, traveled safely to and from our event, and did so with the utmost courtesy. They dropped everyone off at our event, and then continued to shuttle people back to the hotel throughout the evening. Couldn't beat the service we received for the price we paid. read more

Used Escot twice for transportation to and from east coast for cruise. Second time we were told to get off the boat as soon as possible for return trip. We then waited foe three hours for the bus to show. Had to wait till well after lunch to eat. We could have gotten breakfast on the boat but we raced off to meet the bus. Not the best experience. I was very impressed with the service provided. I took the round trip passage from Sarasota to Miami. The bus made several stops to pick up and drop off passengers in Venice, Fort Meyers and Naples. The stops were handled professionally and quickly checking names to make sure all were picked up and dropped off. Our cruise ship was late arriving since a crew member fell over board and they had to search for him. They responded to an email concerning the delay and sent a bus that was waiting 4 hours later to pick up and take just 3 passengers back to Venice and Sarasota. Today, one of their bus drivers deliberately tried to run me off of road and into the ditch. I was shocked that someone would do that, let alone someone with a phone number and company name on their vehicle. I called the company and complained, but I was still shaking from anger and fear at almost hitting the ditch at 65 MPH. read more
