What is interesting is that with the laid back atmosphere, this place still delivered. What set this place apart from other locations is that you get to watch the instructions in the lobby before you enter the room. I feel this made for a better experience as we weren't crammed with our heads pointed upwards at a screen. We chose the Poltergeist room by looking at the website. We had no prior knowledge of the room, but it sounded fun to do. Once we got done with the instruction video we were led back to the room. Given a few reminders of the instruction video and set free in the room. What lacked here was the unenthusiastic interaction from the staff. I understand that they probably get bored a lot, but there was so much monotone in the voice. Once in the room, we kind of went through the motions and slowly figured out puzzle after puzzle. If you are afraid of the dark, this might not be the room for you, as you start in a nearly dark room, and it is a small, one room escape room. If you are a fan of Ghostbuster, you definitely need to try this room. The satisfaction you get from solving puzzle after puzzle and, if you are lucky, the final puzzle definitely gives you a feeling of accomplishment. However, if you are stumped at any time throughout the timeframe, you will hear a knock on the door and a clue will slide under to guide you along your way. Some things are kind of oddly put together, but some things, you might be able to skip on through. We kind of did that on a few things and ended up with almost ten minutes to spare when we completed the room. If you complete the room, they offer to take your pictures. And they post it to their Facebook page within a few days.

We got out in the nick of time! We were not given clues until we asked for them and they were helpful, but not dictatorial. We also did the Wizard School and the Lost Temple with two groups of five women each. Neither of our first-timer groups escaped, but we all loved it and everyone got into the spirit of it. Every one of the women indicated they would go back again. Escape rooms are typically an activity for adults. I would think twice about bringing kids under the age of eight and expect them to participate in a meaningful way.

Now it appears to be combined into one location, even though there are three separate addresses you can visit. To top it off, the map takes you to a competitor now instead of one of the three locations. I have no idea what it going on over at Yelp, but it is not helping local businesses by combining/messing up the map. Anyway, the location that I had visited was the Midtown location. It was the one we wanted to go to since it had the room we wanted to participate in. We showed up a bit early, but were permitted to go in before out start time. The guy working was amazing and gave us all the rules and a few hints as to where to start, and he would pop in along the way if we were having a bit of trouble. The room was quite fun and entertaining to accomplish. We did hit a few bumps along the way, but were guided to exactly what we were missing. Funny thing happened here, we were in the last room, nearing the end of puzzles, getting witched out, and we were just finishing the puzzles when the exit door burst open. See, we hadn't completed the puzzle just yet, but the door opened while we were figuring it out. I crept towards the door and peaked my head out. The guy helping us said that happens from time to time. See the air pressure from when the outside door opens and closes sometimes causes this door to burst open. Honestly, it scares the crap out of you since you are in a dim lit room and it just busts open. Happy to say, even with the door busting open we were able to clear the room before time was up. Once complete we were greeted by the guy that helped us all throughout. We were congratulated and pictures taken. Once we donned out witch's hat.

However, where I was disappointed was the actual room. I am use to elaborately decorated rooms with lots going on. This room was not. It was basic but difficult. I do not want to give anything away so sorry this is not detail oriented. The staff was super friendly!! We arrived at the wrong location and they were very accommodating and got us in the next time slot at the correct location. When you log onto the website and click on a room. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE LOCATION!! I clicked (through Yelp) on uptown and this room was downtown. Check in on Yelp and you will receive a $5.00 off per person.

We…read moreloved the Heist; it was challenging, had fantastic puzzles, and gave all of us things to work on simultaneously. It was a ton of fun. While the Bunker room was well designed and clean, it was SO linear that only one or two of us could really work on anything at a time. So the other two or three of us would just watch the active player. The really difficult aspects involved math puzzles, which might be harder for people who don't help their kids with algebra homework or happen to teach middle school math. Overall we were underwhelmed with this particular room, which is unfortunate since the actual puzzles in it were solid. If they could add more to it, multiple things going on at the same time, It would be more fun for groups of more than 2.

Instead of explaining how to do something in a game there they would tell him how as if he should have already known all while returning to the front desk to play games on their personal phones. There are no rules posted but people (both kids and adults) kept getting into trouble for crossing red tape on the floor, and removing their own VR sets. They have enough random seating for 20 or more people but only have 6 game screens they darken the room but on a sunny day it doesn't matter because they have a window front store that makes it blinding because the rest or the establishment is dark with small neon lights. Was also not happy with the "that's what she said jokes" around a group of 11-12 yr olds.
