12/15/2018: I woke up early so, I may have my hair washed, given a hair treatment, blown dry, and…read morestyled for my daughter's wedding today-appointment was at 9:45 but, I decided I should arrive earlier. The entire procedure took about 1 hour~cool. First, my hair was washed then, the hair treatment was applied onto my hair. Afterwards, I climbed up to the second floor where the hair treatment's intense heat machine location is and sat underneath the machine for about twenty to thirty minutes. Meanwhile, I'm served hot coffee and biscuits. As soon as the hair treatment machine turned itself off, the hair stylist escorts me downstairs and rinses the hair treatment: My hair felt moisturized and not brittle unlike before the hair treatment, my hair felt thin, lackluster, egregiously dried out from enduring the cold weather. The hairstylist, Tanya has my hair blown dry and styled: My hair appears amazingly healthy and my hairstyle is appropriate for attending my daughter's wedding. I removed a star due to when it was time paying for the hair treatment and styling, The Work's credit card machine became inoperative: Which meant-I had to leave my Pacsafe bag hunting down an ATM Machine withdrawing cash and paying for the services renderred. BTW: I had to hunt down the credit union's ATM which was inoperative then, I ran the opposite way finding a Barclay's Bank ATM machine diagonally across the street from The Works' Salon. Upon returning with cash in hand, the owner was calling credit card machine repair having the credit machine fixed! FYI: Go to the Barclay's Bank ATM machine should The Works' credit card machine becomes inoperative again! Oy-Evay . . . Eye-Roll.

She uses hard wax, which is virtually painless and gives way better results than strip wax - I totally recommend that you try it if you've only experienced strip wax. She was so professional, quick and thorough (went over strays with tweezers afterwards, made sure I was 100% happy before I left) and was chatty with such a warm nature- totally put me at ease and I'm sure it made it hurt less than normal as well. I got the impression that she's had a lot of experience in brazilian waxing, which is always a good thing. She is definitely my person to go to in London for waxing now; the place is only a 5min walk from Elephant & Castle station and even if you're not from around the SE area (I'm not), it's 100% worth the trek. Amy is a genuine sweetheart and she knew what I wanted when I showed her pictures, and gave input when I asked. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and I finally felt fabulous for my honeymoon. I wish I could go to Amy all the time, even though I live in the States (where I haven't found a regular hairdresser). Maybe I should move to London! I have fine, curly hair and want smooth, shiny hair which is often difficult to achieve until I met Jair. Now I have a brilliant stylist just down the road from me and who understands what I want. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she modified the cut to suit my face better. She convinced me to go shorter than I had originally wanted and decided that more texture would be better suited for my hair type. I am blown away with how it looks, and the maintenance is very low key. I can do a quick blow dry after a shower and it still looks amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in London.

They are not too talkative because some of the staff do not speak English very well yet but they are all lovely and full of attention.
