Staff member, Grayson was great getting us set up and helping the game along. The rooms have lots of details. The props aren't cheaply made. Very immersive feeling. Well, today was the day I decided to stop putting it off and to have some fun. Reservations and payment are made online and we booked the Candy Shop for 3:30 on a Friday. It was just the two of us, I think they only put one party in a room at one time and that was perfect. No strangers to see how dense I am! We had no idea what we were doing, but we had a blast. My daughter went here with a group of friends and did the Infirmary room and she really enjoyed it, especially the ending. So I decided to book a holiday escape here for my family as I had been working so much that I had missed a lot of holiday parties or attended them buried on my phone. They understand things like this happen, but I felt like I missed out. We were running a few minutes late because we could not locate it. It is in a building closer to the road, so don't get fooled by your GPS. The manager was very nice and waived me in and completely understood why we started late. A few tips, watch the screen flashing in the lobby, it will over questions to answer to possibly get more clues. Also, read through the items in the lobby while you wait, they are entertaining. This trip we did the Sherlock Holmes Library and it was a blast. It looks like a normal library, but there are hidden clues everywhere and I do mean, everywhere. It was a challenge, but the three clues they give you are perfect to help you complete it. Yes, it can be frustrating, but don't get discouraged, you are closer to finishing than you think. Our "monitor" was fantastic, helpful and good at hints. He kind of kept us on track time wise too. You get pictures and fun options after, overall a great experience.

After lunch in…read morethe Town Center we agreed to do an escape room since she was not able to attend a Yelp event at one. This one was well off the beaten path and well hidden if you weren't looking for it. The place was dead as it was a Sunday so we figured we'd liven it up, as Susan would say, "Life is for shenanigans." The staff were entertained by us bantering and dressing up in the different detective clothing while we waited for our scheduled time to escape from The Library. What was a little different from my past experience, a staff member is in the room with you monitoring since there are no cameras around. Also, there's creepy/suspenseful music playing with a dayglow timer going to keep you focused and panicked at the same time while you're looking around for clues. And while we didn't finish in the hour that we were supposed to, we thought that we did pretty good and got out maybe 5 minutes later. I really enjoyed this escape room and I think now I might be addicted :p
