I am pretty nerdy about tiki, so take everything I say with a giant grain of salt. Everybody who comes here will have a very fun experience. The drinks are good and the service is top notch. However they do have some quirks that fight with my love of tiki. Firstly, their spins on classic cocktails - Mai Tai, Caipirinha - are not improvements or unique versions of those cocktails. Replacing the rum blend in a Mai Tai with Sailor Jerry's and omitting the orange curacao is a crime. However, there are very cool cocktails on the menu. "Where Is My Mind... Eraser?" is easily the tastiest drink on the menu. Coffee Liquor, Rum, Cream - it is a alcoholic latte. Their Planters Punch is also very tasty. Perhaps the best advice I can give is to slim the menu down. It's large and drink quality across the board is mixed. Nailing a few classics and platforming some really creative cocktails, reinforcing the "ish" part of the Tiki-ish monicker. I'd really like to see something like an Aku Aku or Saturn on the menu. Also, where is the mint or pineapple frawns? The garnish game is lacking a ton. As a whole, this is a very promising spot. They are very new and most of the bartenders are not into Tiki like me. It's new to them. I can spot Smuggler's Cove on the bar, which is the Bible for new Tiki, and that is a good sign they are trying to do things right. A good tiki bar is one part escapism, one part experience, and one part good drinks. This is on its way. Go try it! I know I'm coming back.

Our server, Deb, decided to inform us once the bill arrived that the espresso martini wasn't a part of the special because "it was a higher end liquor". The bill literally said "RAIL VODKA" underneath the $14. It would've been nice if she would've mentioned that prior to getting the drink that wasn't a part of the special. The service was slow considering there was one other table and one party at the bar. We left pretty disappointed.
