This particular park, the one here in Pensacola, Florida, not the one in Santa Monica, California, is not a big park by any means, but it is a pleasant enough park with a children's playground, exercise equipment, a basketball court, a pavilion, pickle ball courts and a walking path. In one corner, they have a field where you play baseball or another game. They have a few porta-potties and a small parking lot. I would definitely recommend this neighborhood park.

Lots of parking. I do wish they had more intentional landscaping. Pensacola selectively landscapes its parks it seems and I wish this one got more of an overhaul. It's quite large and expansive and with some additional thoughtfulness and planting it could be a very special urban park.

In addition to the play equipment there are restrooms, a covered area with picnic tables, tennis and pickleball courts, a dog park, grills for barbecuing, and above all else there is a water park play area with some awesome splash pad apparatus. When we arrived we saw employees there sweeping, cleaning, and conducting maintenance. Everything seems to be well maintained. There's shade in much of the parking area helping to keep the heat controlled while spending time in the park. Will we be back? Absolutely! This is a great park, and it's close to home!
