Stay away from their heavy pressure sales. Don't fall for it and shop around. I was excited to get solar but ever since Oct 2022 this has been a nightmare. They were quick to do a fast ship and install then everything stalled from there. Fast forward to April 2023 and after 3 failed inspections, a total reinstallation of all the ground electrical components, power pole redo and a new meter that has doubled my normal usage I still do not have solar capabilities. Erus Energy were the installers that install our solar panels. We've had nothing but problems since they've installed them. we were mislead on getting the solar panels to work. We were told that once the panels were in and the meter from elpaso Electric that the solar panels would be working, little did we know that we had to call erus Energy to come out and turn the panels on. we didn't find that out for two weeks so we went two weeks without any Solar. what we were promised that our electric bill would be approximately $30 for fees. since we've had our electric bill has been over $200 for the last four months we were under the impression and led to believe that our bill would only be around $30 or less for fees there's so much that we were not told and miss lead that now I got problems with my panels and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get them to come out and figure out what's wrong at the beginning they were out within a couple of days now I've waited two weeks to get them to come out and do an assessment on my panels and also talk to them about repositioning my panels because they installed the panels underneath some shade. I've got letters documentation from Enphase the people that monitor the the system have indicated our panels are not producing properly and they are not positioned properly. I would not recommend this company to do your installation on Solar when we signed up for solar. we were not told that we had to pay $250 fee for them to come out and diagnose problems. Had I known that, I would not have signed up for solar. Don't get suckered in to buying solar panels. It's a rip off your miss lead in so many ways and you won't find out until after the fact and by that time it's too late you're screwed. I asked the Question "do i need to clean them. " Sam the owner of sunshine city said no. then I find out that yes you do. I'm 68 yrs. old and cannot climb on a steep roof. also, can't afford to hire anyone to do it. I was also told by one of their employees that I'm not the only one having problems with this company (Erus). their customer service people are rude the woman who sets up appointments laughs at you when you call. read more

I would give them 0 starts if I could! Stay away from this company. They have the worst customer service. They will not take any responsibility for any issues after installation is done. All they will do is tell you to "figure it out". And their supervisor are worst they know nothing about nothing! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! read more

These people charge outrageous prices and give terrible interest rates. I cancelled my contract with them about a week later and now they want to charge 4000 with no services performed. Luckily I found SunPro Solar they're paying off the stupid 4K fee from Erus, gave me a better price, lower interest rate, and longer warranty. Should have looked at reviews before cause it's obvious Sunpro was the better choice from the beginning. read more

I have a no soliciting sign on my house. I worry about dealing with a company that disregards my request.

We had a great experience with Erus. We signed up the week after Thanksgiving. I assumed with the holidays things might take a bit longer but we were up and running by mid-January. They came out and did the initial inspection. The gentleman who came out was kind and very responsive to the exact location of where I wanted the panels placed. About 3 weeks later they came for the install. They installed as per the updated layout and even fulfilled my request to run the tubing back behind the roof pitch as to not be seen from the front. They were done by noon. I watched most of the install and they even answered my questions while doing the different tasks involved. El Paso Electric came out mid-January and activated us. After that Erus configured our system to be monitored online and we've been producing since. As per the monitoring app, our system is producing more than its specified output and we're barely at the end of our "winter" season. read more
