The staff welcomed English speaking and served up the most delicious doner sandwich I've had. Portions were very generous with a price point of $5 per sandwich. It's one of those places that you think about going back to right after you take the first bite. Will definitely be coming back for a third visit. My second trip here I chose a doner pizza and it was amazing. Period. Festiva will be sorely missed and I'll return again one day!

I've passed this place so many times and I didn't know there was a restaurant here. During lunch time you can choose food from the buffet. And the buffet is to not disappoint. There's a large array of different foods. They were so good I forgot to take pictures, even though I went up to grab food three times! They serve a few different types of sushi during the buffet but the sushi belt was not open, I want to assume it's only during dinner that they offer that. Cannot go wrong with prices either. We paid 24€ for my husband and I. 8€ a piece to eat and the rest was all drinks. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The beer here is great. I strongly suggest the strong beer and Dunkel. If you get the strong beer it comes in an awesome mug, which you can by for 5 euro. The food is varied, not monster portions, but delicious and well plated. We all ate off each others plates and the venison, pork medallions, and pork shoulder are all great. Mine seemed a little dry, but there was ample beer sauce on my plate and when I ran the meat through it it made a perfect bite. You may not easily find this one, but it's worth the hunt. And they have English menus available if requested.

There are birch trees everywhere, to simulate that you're eating outdoors. The burgers were good, but nothing spectacular. It is my 3rd choice for burgers in Amberg, I won't list the other two on this review though. The great thing about this place that the others didn't have were the selection of sauces at the table. My favorite was the "orange senf soße", or orange mustard sauce. I had a Hans im Glück burger on sourdough bun. Their fries were also steak cut fries and I had them with avocado cream (pretty much guacamole)
