Of course when you walk into the Hopkinton store, you miss the oh so familiar and intoxicating aroma of Chef Mike L's food!!!!!! So, get in the car after you get your wine and drive over to Marlborough and grab one of Mikes' delectable, addictive and crave worthy sandwiches and soups - then all will be in balance in the Universe!!! My only knocks on them are that it can be a bit challenging finding wines of choice so either better way finders or more knowledgeable sommeliers will be crucial. Additionally, I wasn't too keen on all the price & description chalk-like writing on the bottles, albeit it can be easily wiped off. I guess I just like to admire the beauty of the bottles as unobstructed as reasonably possible. Lastly, it would be nice to see a section dedicated to more local or regional vineyards. For me, these small tweaks can take it from good to great. All things considered, this was a fantastic find that I hope has a permanent home in this community.

I also intended to return a case of empty bottles that I bought here the previous week. The owner told me that he does not accept returns after 12:00PM because the store is too busy. I pointed out that I was the only customer in the store and that I bought the empty case at his establishment and I was about to buy another. I also told him that they were REQUIRED BY LAW to accept returns during all hours of operation (MA Bottle Bill). He told me that he could do whatever he wanted because he owned the place - what an arrogant jerk to think he is above the law.
