They seem to sell mid-price brands, so probably closer to Beaverbrooks/F. Hinds than Goldsmiths/ Ernest Jones. The service, however, is much better than anything you will find in the national chains. I bought two Seiko watches and got a good deal on them (wouldn't have bought two otherwise!). The staff didn't try to rush me whilst I was choosing and took a lot of trouble over adjusting the bracelets to get them just right. If only all jewellers were this good! I am delighted with my purchases and, although I don't live locally, will definitely be visiting this shop again.

Started yelling and being very nasty in front of a 3 year old for no reason, also messes up my watch and tried to overcharge so much more compared to others. I have heard about similar stories of her rudeness from a friend of mine! You would never have this shabby service from anywhere like H. Samuals or ernest jones, anyone would be fired for that kind of outburst. No class at all! I am not surprised they had to close their Burnley store! Go anywhere else and give your business to someone who is nicer! Thank goodness websites like this exist so that I can share my experience with others! In all my years of shopping in stores I have NEVER come across such awful service.

I have visited this shop on a number of occasions to purchase gifts and have always found the staff to be helpful and polite. On my last visit I enquired about a repair for a clasp on a necklace chain and it was done there and then for me and only cost £1! I do not believe at all that they overcharge and based on my experience cannot understand the other review left for this shop. All I would say is do not be biased and go in and see for yourself.
