Huge patti that tasted like real meat. I love burgers. 2. They were swamped. It was the middle of the afternoon on Thursday of Le Mans 24 weekend. They were open when everyone else was closed till 7! We were hungry. They service was more than decent. We both had burgers. AND they took me back in the kitchen to thank the chef. 3. There was a rowdy obnoxious couple of guests next door At the pub. Clearly drunk and harrassing passers-by. I see what looks like the manager of this place on the phone talking to someone staring at the drunks. Two minutes later, gendarmerie show up. Drunks gone. The only problem you'll have is getting a table, but even then they have plenty of space upstairs and can probably still somehow accommodate you. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Le Mans for any reason. Also the €€€ sign for price is misleading. It's not that expensive, certainly not by UK standards! :)

We also shared two of the deserts, the Black Forest reimagined and Mystery which we're both quite good.

After a week of eating every meal accompanied by either a block of cheese or stick of butter this was a nice and healthy break from the heavy foods I had been eating the entire week. The best part was the food was incredibly delicious mostly in part due to the organic vegetables used. There is seating available outside on the street as well as inside (which is air conditioned as a bonus!) The owner of the restaurant was nice enough to translate the menu posted in the front of the shop into English for me. We ordered a few items off the menu: - Emulsion of Tomato: I absolutely adore gazpacho and this is the best that I've had in a long time mostly due to the small hint of heat in the dish. This was my favorite item we ordered off of the menus. - Vegetable Box: This is the first vegetable dish I've had in France which doesn't just consist of sauteed vegetables in butter. Each of the vegetables in this dish was expertly prepared and delicious. -Tartine: On top of a grilled piece of bread, a melody of warmed vegetables. The poached egg on top added the perfect amount of gooey-ness to the dish. The restaurant does offer meat dishes but they know how to prepare vegetables to bring out the best flavors in them. The food was exceptional and the service was friendly and quick. The tomato soup was one of the highlights of our culinary adventures in France. This meal was a welcome respite from the heavy food that we have been eating over the past week. We enthusiastically recommend!
