Being with State Farm for over 20 years, you'd think they would take care of us and help us with Verizon. However, after receiving a check for less than a $1000, that wasn't going to fix anything, I knew I was going to need some professional help that was going to be on my side. Then I reached out to Brian with Finch & Barrel. Navigating the claims process can be daunting, but he made it much more manageable. He was well-versed in the intricacies of insurance claims. He took the time to explain the entire process, ensuring I understood what to expect. His knowledge of local regulations and insurance policies instilled confidence in me that I was in capable hands. Thanks to his expertise, my claim was settled for a much higher amount. His skills made all the difference, allowing me to focus on rebuilding rather than worrying about the claims process.

want to give a huge shoutout to Jossy and her amazing team!…read more About 6 months ago I made an anonymous post in the Annapolis Moms group because I was desperately in need of help cleaning my house. Both my husband and I work, we have a child, and finding the time and energy to keep up with everything felt almost impossible. Jossy responded to my post, and after chatting with her I immediately knew I wanted to hire her. She came to my home to give me an estimate and was so kind, warm, and professional. There was absolutely no judgment about my messy home, which honestly gave me so much relief. When Jossy and her team did the deep clean, it completely reset my home. It felt like I could finally breathe again walking into a fresh, organized space. Now Jossy and her team are my go-to whenever I need help. They are so pleasant to have in the house (which is important since I work from home), and they truly go the extra mile. They clean things I never would have even thought of! I'm incredibly thankful to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone who needs help keeping their home running smoothly.

Nicole Harlick reached out to me gave me a quote for $425 we went back and forth about the house and I told her this isn't a one person job. long story short they did not give me a renovation cleanin. Also, she complained about the square footage of the house and it being filth! We just bought a project and it needs work. She was NOT prepared and they didn't finish cleaning the house. cabinets dirty, stove dirty, they left a I vote sticker on the cabinet she claimed they cleaned and she asked for more money prior because she got to the house and still didn't finish the job. I requested a refund for the additional money she requested and she complained. I was blown away by her lack of professionalism. DO NOT hire! Also, don't take the job without being equipped to do the work. I have tons of pictures of the filth they left behind. I would not recommend, I would not hire again!

Edit: I'd like to…read moremake it very clear LaTanya has never visited my home. She appears to be confusing me with another client. My dog is a miniature dachshund and has never attacked anyone and we just moved to this area last year as I mentioned to her when I spoke to her in April. I also don't have children. Her response to my review is invalid. Top Notch Cleaning was recommended to me on NextDoor and based on Yelp reviews I was excited to use the company. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. I scheduled a consultation through the site that didn't happen and that was understandable as website calendar issues happen and the owner was out of town for a funeral. This was in April and LaTanya gave me prices based on my sq footage that I thought were very reasonable. She informed me a week or so later after I reached out that she had an injury so she would not be available until sometime after May and that was fine with me as she would reach out. We exchanged pleasantries and I let her know healing was the only thing to worry about and I looked forward to working with her when she was better. I reached out in June again and she said she was working but I forgot to ask about her schedule as I was transitioning to a new job. Today I reached out to ask about her September schedule and she told me she didn't feel comfortable coming to my home and to please find someone else and we are now in August. I don't know what has changed and what is going on. I am a little frustrated because it was not communicated to me prior that she was uncomfortable. If it is because I live in Middle River, that is understandable, but when we spoke on the phone, that wasn't brought up to be an issue. If it is because I have a small dog, that is understandable as well, but it can be arranged for him not to be home and that was never brought up either. We both work from home, so him being crated if that's what is needed or him not being home can be arranged. I did ask if I made her uncomfortable or what happened so that I can understand because for me, this is coming out of nowhere since conversations have been pleasant with no issues. I think if you are able to work with LaTanya, you should as she is very reasonable in her prices and seems like a joy to work with. Her work also seems stellar, so I'm disappointed to be missing out in supporting her business.

However, at the time, this representative was not licensed in VA so he referred us to another adjuster. I do not know if Paid Fairly has a VA license now; but, if you decide to use Billie, I recommend you ask if Paid Fairly will be the team working on your claim. If you are referred to Shorter Settlements, DO NOT USE THEM. Kharee was very unhelpful and unresponsive. We did not get the damages we needed covered. He told us back in September that our claim was under appeal and we haven't heard from him since October. We've tried phone, text, and email and no response. We have been in touch with our insurance company and they have no record of an appeal. We are going to research to see if we can still recoup any of the cost but we will absolutely not be working with Shorter Settlements or Paid Fairly. To be fair, Paid Fairly has been responsive, they just aren't handling our claim. They did, however, refer us to Shorter.
