They gave me multiple shingle colors to choose from and we set the date. They dropped off the material the day prior which was great, so I knew they stayed on schedule. I cannot say enough positive things about the team with Foster Contracting. After a nightmare…read moresituation on our home with a "new" roof as advertised at the time of purchase, the team at Foster Contracting made every step easy and seamless. We worked with them through the Strengthen Alabama Homes Grant Program and have no doubt we chose the right contractor to complete our new roof. Chase came out and walked us through the current issues we were facing and then described step by step what would be next if we chose to move forward with them. He was respectful and detail oriented with us and made sure we understood the full picture of what needed to be mitigated. Once we decided to move forward with them, we were on the schedule within a week and a half and the work itself was completed in a little over one day. The team that did the installation was courteous and respectful of our home, taking care of our property as if it was theirs. Our new roof looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The crew were professional and courteous and worked like a finely tuned unit. The whole interaction with the employees from start to finish reflected professional and solid knowledge of procedures and requirements. Our roof looks great! The roof crew spent a great deal of time cleaning up all debris to make sure to get all nails, old roofing material, and scrap cleaned up. Two supervisors actually showed up the next day to double check the area and check for any debris. We would highly recommend Foster Contracting to anyone needing a new fortified roof. We would trust them with any construction need. Kudos to Chase, his supervisor, and all his employees for a great roof job.

We used them for a very difficult job between two historic homes we own. They were amazing. We got…read moremany quotes and they were the least expensive while being licensed/bonded. We definitely made the right decision using them. They removed several HUGE old trees safely without any damage to my personal house that has a tile roof. The other one we knew would have some roof damage due to position of tree. This tree was huge and they had to cut it trunk by trunk by hand and lowered with ropes. {To the reviewer below with low rating, they repaired your issue- why give them such a low rating? I did not put too much into that review- you seem ridiculous. } A tiny edge of the roof next door was hit by part of that tree (a miracle it was not more due to this huge tree) and they promptly had it repaired. We actually found out about another very old hole in the roof thanks to them. We were able to get it repaired too by their roofer(who we also liked). They even came back quickly during a busy time for them when one of the trees we tried to save had unknown termite damage inside it and cracked. That was a Saturday! They are awesome. My husband is 30 year construction project manager, watched them, and he says they are legit. In fact, he was such a fan- he wanted to work with them "for fun" on the weekend. Lol, I said NO, not happening. I will recommend them to everyone. They towed off all the mess, except parts my hubby wanted for firewood.

I fixed ceiling in 2 rooms. 16 Years into this 30 year roof, I find more leaks on the ceiling. Same story "nail popped up" we fixed it. I see more spots now. Getting the run around on the phone with the receptionist, and the workers. Receptionist was really nasty, and said the "workmanship was only guaranteed 5 years". All week I get we came by (been home all week, and have camera's, nobody came), I'll have him call you as soon as he gets in. "He" hasn't called me. Someone finally called this am, and I missed the call. I returned the call, and he said he was here. When I asked why he didn't ring the doorbell, and why my camera didn't pick him up, he said "well, I was calling from Whataburer" to see if now is a good time. Said he couldn't come back, and couldn't tell me when he could come back. Now I have what Servpro says a 10x25 foot spot that needs treating for mold, cleaning and encapsulating. My home is only 35 FT x35 FT. I have COPD and the mold is affecting my health. It seems the scheduling dept doesn't let you know ahead of time when they can come, and the receptionist isn't communicating very well with the owner. I've got nothing but the run around and LIES, all week. This "30 year Artic Shingle" roof should have been good through 2036, and this is the 3rd time I've had serious issues that have ruined my ceiling in 2 rooms. And now the decking has rot, and needs replacing along one side of the house, and I have mold growing in the attic, that also needs to be addressed after the roof gets fixed.
