I remember my first time following up after losing a little weight, and my doctor burst through the door and said, "YOU LOST XX POUNDS! CONGRATS!". Let me tell you, there's nothing better than having that kind of support behind you! Even from the beginning, I have always felt supported and like my dr wound fight for me. I also happen to work with most of the dr's from said office at my job. I have loved working with every single one of them because of how nice and supportive of their patients they are. I highly recommend this office for great OB support!

So I had to drive in the middle of the night in a snowstorm from Wyoming to Idaho Falls. My only thought was please God don't let this be a man... Five minutes after I walk in the door, in walks a 6 foot, 12-year-old doctor.... a man. Dang it. Dr Vanesky. About 15 minutes later I was hooked. I have had other children... But have never had a doctor that was such an advocate for their patients. After a very dramatic delivery, and an extended NICU stay, I can text him to this day and will always get a response. My best friend is pregnant, saw how he was with me, and switched OBs. Four months after she was born I went to my friends first appointment with him and somehow he remembered my name and my baby's name. Come on... Who does that? Do yourself a favor... This is your guy.

If i could give negative stars, I would and here's why…read more Starting from the beginning- I opted out of my medical benefits in May 2025 due to cost as my employer had changed our insurance carrier and then found out I was pregnant in June 2025 and I couldn't get those medical benefits until open enrollment in May 2026, so naturally I applied for pregnancy medicaid to help with cost but was denied because I made too much money. I went into Dr. Leavitt office in Idaho Falls and wanted to be seen for prenatal care, but explained my situation with insurance and they referred me to Community Family Clinic for their sliding fee scale, so i scheduled an appointment and was seen there as many times as I could due to being cash pay and let them know I had a preference of Mountain View Hospital as my daughter born there in 2024 was an amazing experience. (I have had 3 pregnancies and all healthy babies) so I didn't exactly do every single appointment, but I did what I could afford for cash pay. Fast Forward to Thursday, February 5, 2026 around 6:30pm I walked into Mountain View Hospital as I was having contractions and was put in a wheelchair when i got up to Labor and Delivery and was taken to room 3 where I explained my situation to a nurse and shortly after I met Dr. Emily Jensen from Leavitt's office and was treated very poorly from the moment I was sat in that room. She was very unprofessional, rude, and incredibly judgy. I let her know that i wanted to decline the Vitamin K, Hep B, and the Eurithromyacin ointment on my son's eyes and that I wanted the cord to be white before cutting it as I'm more a natural first over modern medicine. I was talked down to like I didnt know what I was talking about and basically made me feel like I was stupid. She was very condescending and when my son was born after she broke my water and she let me tear 3 times and didn't give a crap about it. I was asked again about the Vitamin K and Hep B and was treated like I was a bad mother when i once again had to decline and she told me my decision was not what she would recommend. My son was handed to me and every light in that room was turned on and I was abandoned there alone from 1:25am until almost 5am holding my son while I was still numb from the epidural and could barely move. She never checked on me and didnt care to. I had to push the button for the nurse to ask if i was being moved or if i could get a bed for my son, so we could both rest. It wasnt too long after that, that I was moved to room 23 where i was given the silent treatment and treated like absolute crap then given a bed for my son. I never saw Dr. Jensen again and instead had a case worker in my room 11 hours after delivery asking me if I could afford my housing, food and electricity and it wasnt just once. I was harrassed about it 6 times and then was told we were reported to CPS for THC in my urine as I had not been aware of it and was told I was drug tested due to my refusal of those treatments for my son and my "insufficient prenatal care". My children are my whole life and I would never do anything to harm them. Dr. Jensen took an oath and is supposed to be unbiased as my decisions with MY child are my own. I would never recommend Dr. Jensen for anyone who is having a baby and wants to stay as natural as possible or not having full insurance yet! (I opted back into my insurance as the birth of my son was considered a "life event") AVOID DR. JENSEN SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! This whole experience has had me stressed out, traumatized and crying for the duration of my 11 hour stay at Mountain View Hospital, that has followed me still today and had to get my attorney involved and its February 10, 2026 today. That said, I expected better even if I was not their patient for the full 9 months. First and foremost, their time management is abysmal. I did all the check ins and pre check-ins, and every single appointment I was waiting for over 30 minutes past my appointment time to be called back. The worst was an hour past, and there was no explanation, no sorry, nothing! Once called back I would then wait another 20-40 minutes before anyone came into the examination room. This created huge problems for my babysitter and picking up my toddler. Secondly, I was scheduled with a different OB nearly every time I went in. Only once was I asked if I wanted an appt with the same OB! Third, billing was disappointing. There were multiple times where they said they couldn't find my insurance to run bills through.... Even though previous ones had been run just fine. I had to call insurance companies and their billing department multiple times to straighten everything out and make sure each bill was run through insurance first. The OBs in the office were friendly but appointments felt like a waste of time. After the huge wait time, it was really annoying to just have my belly measured and then be asked if I had any questions! Sadly, I would never go to this clinic again.

I had 5 appointments and all were pretty much the same story. Brandi (nurse practitioner) was particularly quick with her words and explanations. After 2 minutes, I could tell she and the staff were in a rush. When I initially sat with the nurse, she seemed surprised with regard to what I was there for. I indicated all the reasons I needed to be seen with the receptionist. Sitting for several minutes with the nursing assistant, she kept forgetting what I was there for. She kept saying "the doctor will document that". When Brandi (NP) came in, she immediately started talking at a records pace. I was there for prenatal care and asked her and the assistant to slow down repeatedly so I could write what was said. She didn't slow down either. Update: After calling them about my care, they called back to tell me they were discharging me as a patient (due to the issues I experienced with Brandi and the nurse's assistant). They said because of the "incident" (where I stated they rushed me before I left the office) they will no longer offer care. No notice, no phone call, nothing. They even indicated I wasn't welcome, then referenced this Google review as the reason why. I never told them I left this review. Not one staff member called to ask me why I left the appointment early, or got my side of the story. Just...really horrible care. Not recommended to anyone with a disability (additional care and patience).

He wanted to get to root cause of my problems. He listened very well and gave me a few options to choose from as in how I want to take my treatment. Then I went to see the nutritionist, Karen, and she also brought some chill vibes and was very knowledgeable about foods and alternative solutions for weight loss. Can't wait to put that plan into play and get my intestines back to normal. Seen the blood lab (damn vampire's) and the hispanic nurse was super funny and cool and even though I warned her about my veins she tried anyways. Well she failed which is okay. She got an awesome ICU nurse to suck the life outta me and usually it takes two or more nurses to get my blood and I spend forever in lab. 4 pokes and she got the blood! Not only was she good at but she was friendly and soothing. I gotta go back to see Marci and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.

In the 10 minutes with the nurse, I was recommended to buy supplements from them. I was rushed to talk to the gatekeeper of GLP-1s (literally one person who you talk to to get it, dose it, pay for it and the pricing is as expensive as it gets), after 5 minutes, was rushed to have my blood drawn, then stood at reception and the GLP-1 lady found me to continue the sales pitch. My second appointment, I got a text from them 2 hours before my appointment, which I didn't see as I was at work, and get to the office to be rudely told about it. Seriously, it is not the message of rescheduling that makes me upset. These women were unprofessional. It is inconvenient to make it to appointments during the workday, they should be gracious and attentive. The nurse didn't show up, that isn't my fault, but apparently it wasn't the receptionists' problem either as I missed the text. They made that part superbly clear. Overall, this clinic feels chaotic and I don't trust "Dr. Salesman" health advice, so I am not going back.
