I'm leaving a 3 star because I'm kind of upset I have not received a call back on an available appointment. They have recently became very busy and I'm a understandable woman but I was told my message would get passed on to the PA to schedule a appointment while I'm in the area and no one has called me back or I would have left a 5 star. This makes me kind of bias. They treated me awesome but now there's doing me dirty not returning my call or message about an available appointment and I'm out of medication

My husband went in for two visits at the Mental Wellness Center in Rexburg. The first visit was…read morefine, nothing out of the ordinary. We were told each visit would cost $50, but his insurance would fully cover it. Come to find out at the second visit that it cost $100 and they aren't billing our insurance, which leaves us at a bill of $200 dollars that we don't have funds to cover. This sort of thing prevents people from getting the help they need! The counselor he saw was wonderful, but we wouldn't go there again due to our issues with the billing department.

Dr. Larsen significantly changed our son's course of treatment and, after a two week followup, didn't reschedule our son for over two LONG months. No monitoring either. Our bipolar son explicitly told Dr. Larsen he didn't like how long it took to get back in to see him. Our son's condition seriously declined. We desperately tried, with our son's permission, to reach Dr. Larsen for an appointment or phone call only to have receptionists/gatekeepers screen out our urgent pleas. No-one called us back. Unfortunately, our beloved son took his own life before the two month appointment came. We believe that the lack of monitoring and patient contact were significant factors in our son's death. We truly hope that Dr. Larsen and the receptionists that he has trained are willing to reflect on their actions and consequences so that another child might live.

My daughter was willing to get help and she wanted to learn how to cope better. She came home with hope!
