An old friend recommended Mr. Little & I liked how he didn't talk down to me & seemed to be ready…read moreto fight for me. I could not have been more wrong. As soon as he got the money in his hand, it all changed. When I called to touch base the day before court, he had no idea who I was. I would think a lawyer would want to know what cases he had in court the next day but apparently not. Let me just say this, I have never been treated so bad, talked to like an idiot, not to mention I did everything, I had to tell him what was going on in my case cuz he could care less. So after court, he tells me to check in with pretrial the next day blah blah...so I do. Then iI check my voicemail & I hear Mr. Little chewing me out, talking to me like I am a complete idiot , saying how he told me to check in and now I was probably going to jail. How he had just gotten an email from pre trail.saying.i didn't show & a warrant probably was going out.....my mouth fell open. Wtf? So of course when I go to my appt. with pre-trial, I ask about this. The lady looks at me like I am completely insane until I play we her the voicemail. She said she knew for a fact no email came from that office. So I'm like wtf is going on?? She said "He's lying." Why would my.attorney do this? What attorney has time to do this? So I ask him....got no response. At this point the only thing Mr Little said was the same speech about how I could take it to trial for another $2,000 which is half price what he usually charges....blah blah...Followed by "but of course you would lose"....so for $4,000 I got that speech, treated like a piece of crap .....oh and it was just starting. So somewhere it was decided my only option was drug court. Now there are always options...like doing time...something.... He said nope, that's it. You qualify, which I didn't, which shows how much he knows. Then it gets worse...so I'm signing all the paperwork....& right at the end...he says.." oh yeah...you have a warrant." We were about to walk into court where obviously I would get arrested & he barely warned me? Isn't lawyer supposed to help you because it sounded like he was happy? I haven't done anything wrong! What is the warrant for? So this is where his true colors shine. He had no idea what the code was I guess so he goes with the stupidest reason possible." Oh u missed a court date." Wtf? Really? Come on!!! I had not missed any dates & u would think he would know that, being my lawyer and all. I guess he realized his mistake, how couldn't he, right? So he pulls another one out of the air. "Oh..u tested dirty for probation. "At this point my 9 year old could have done a better job. Nice try but I never tested for them! I think he tried another one then he had to admit he had no idea what the warrant was for. So he called his secretary. Then he proceeded to ask me some bizarre question not once but 3 times. I could write a novel on this stupid case...so then he says oh...ok..well I guess they ( still don't know if "they" is the courts or his office- as each option scares the poop out of me) got u confused with another older woman that does the same thing you do. OLDER!!?? 1st of all-what lawyer refers to his client this way & here's the best part...I think I am a whole year older than him! We went to the same college at the same time...so how? ..why?...wow. So now 2 warrants have been out when I did nothing but comply...I didn't even know this was possible! Then somewhere around here the speech comes in ..again about the $2,000 & what a great deal blah blah then he stopped & said in the most condescending voice " Do you even have $2,000?" I wanted to scream " How dare you? You rude, self righteous, worst excuse for a lawyer,, biggest waste of money I've ever spent in my life......!!" To anyone reading this...hire ANYONE besides this guy. I dont want anyone to go through what I did or be traumatized for $4,000 so PLEASE find someone else....anyone.

It was mid-day, but I hoped a simple task like this would be easily accomplished. My father was a friend of Frank Summers long ago, and I knew Dick McPherson and Vick Santos, both retired. How hard could it be? Hard. Only secretaries were about, not enough for our needs. We were assured that if they could do it, they'd call us that afternoon, either way. They took our numbers. 24 hours later, we're still waiting...... Hard to find people who do what they say these days.

Tom McPherson was the buyer's real estate lawyer for our home sale on February 10, 2017. We, the…read moresellers, did not attend the Friday closing because we were moving to NC but Tom McPherson knew that we had requested a wire transfer of the proceeds to go to our bank at the closing. He did not check with his bank in advance and therefore made the closing appointment on the very hour (2pm) that wire transfers were cutoff for the weekend. After not receiving our wire transfer hours after the closing, I phoned Mr. McPherson that evening and asked what had happened. He blamed the mistake on the bank. He refused to accept responsibility for his mistake. He refused to say he was sorry. And he had not even tried to call us to admit that although the buyers had our house, we did not have payment for it. So on Monday I called to speak to the head of the firm and the office manager, Sheila, told me that she is the one to speak to about all issues. I told her what happened and that I wanted the head of the firm to know about this and she said someone would call me back to apologize and of course no one did.
