We had Soraya for make-up and Stu for hair. I am not someone who wears make up often and felt quite nervous about how I would react to having my make-up done and seeing myself "all done up." First Soraya and Stu made me feel perfectly comfortable listened to what I was thinking and were very flexible with even big changes (i.e. going from curls to a blow out!) Moreover I felt the most beautiful on my wedding day. I look at the photos and am so happy to look like the best version of myself. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted for my makeup and hair (natural, soft, and romantic) and she nailed it. I don't speak Spanish or Catalan unfortunately but the main hair dresser did and he was able to translate for me and the woman who did my hair. This was one of the best hair cuts I have had. I wanted just a simple trim but she just did a great job really great job. Somehow my hair looked longer and significantly healthier when she was done (as I had been neglecting my hair due to a hectic work life.) I wish I could come back every 2 months for a regular trim!

This hair salon is just around the corner from Flamant Restaurant and so it was convenient for us to check it out (because we ate at Flamant a couple of times while we were in Barcelona). These are the things that resulted in us going there: location (walking distance from our hotel .... the MurMuri); languages spoken (a sign in the window says they speak several languages, including English) ; willingness to use my wife's hair color and developer(she always carries some with her on trips ); price (the advertised price for color in the window was about 25 euros) ; hours . I made the appointment in person when I stopped in there on a Friday; the appointment was for 2 p.m. on the following Monday. It was pouring rain, we got there at 1:45 p.m. and the place was already open. The stylist did an excellent, attentive job . He was very professional and my wife's hair came out great. We would return there for similar or other services without a second thought. We were the only customers there the entire time.
