I called their office and left a message and no one called me back. I also emailed them and someone did respond and I called the number and email and left another message. I waited 3 days for a call back because I was in pain and I needed a dental care right away. When I called back, the first thing out of their mouth, they were not taking one insurance and needed my insurance information before they could book the appointment. Just to be clear I do have dental insurance and actually have supplemental dental insurance through USAA. I called my insurance companies and confirmed the dental plan that I had. I called back again. It has been two weeks since I called and I never called back. Ended up going back to a previous dentist who got me in right away and I will post a review on them. This review is not for their dental service, but the fact that their office staff doesn't even take the time to ask why are you calling and is there anything we can help you with. Plus they don't return phone calls.

After explaining that a crown is needed he got to work preparing the tooth to accept the crown. Assisted by a wonderful young lady Ayannah they numbed me up and before I knew it Ayannah was making a temporary crown right there next to me. After a few adjustments she glued the temp in place like she's been doing it for 20 years. Everyone who worked on me today was very professional and made me feel as if I was in the best hands. After today I know Dr Kawano and his awesome assistants like Ayannah and his Son Derek (who shares the practice) are at the top of their field. Crazy Bernie is now a HUGE fan of Kawano Dental!!!

I think she just was not paying attention to me but treating me that I was the one that making this difficult. From that moment I started to feel disappointed noticing that may be she doesn't know what she was suppose to do asking me to hold then come back and asked me the questions all over again and again. Made a last minute Sunday appointment, he was able to squeeze me in 3 hours afters the call! I was in so much pain thinking it was a tooth or wisdom tooth infection and didn't think I could wait until Monday with chances of other regular offices making extra appointments after only and treating everything right away. Turns out after a detailed exam and x-ray, it was pretty bad gum disease. Dr Christopher V. Shamlian was very patient and thorough in explaining the options and treatments. His assistant was very nice and patient as well when helping me take x-rays and assisting him. I've had bad dentist visit experience as a kid so I never went to the dentist after. But after this emergency visit, I'll be sure to come back for my deep cleans to maintain my gums. Even on the higher end on price, their office and service is just so friendly and top notch. His confidence helped with my anxiety for the procedure and healing. 3 weeks post op, I developed some inflammation, swelling, fatigue again, probably an infection. They were able to get me seen within 24 hours and taken care of with antibiotics. Prior to my surgery, there was a time I wasn't able to reach the office to reschedule my appt but it was due to staffing, which is understandable. Since then, they've hired more staff to support the office. I'm very grateful that every time I reached out to the office after surgery, I was able to reach someone. I honestly went to his office more times than I wanted to because I just wanted to be good already lol, but every one was kind, friendly and helpful every time. My fiancé was very proactive on my behalf while I was under and scheduled a post op appt for me after surgery. I would suggest for a smoother process such as discussing appts and work notes prior to surgery. It's pretty and relaxing inside the building his office is located in, it's like a rainforest! Lol. The office space is a bit small and they are busy! Overall, great experience and I would recommend Dr. Nassiri's office. Thank you so much for taking good care of me!!!
