Hours are actually 12 pm - 4 pm, not 9 am - 7 pm as advertised here and on Groupon. Suffice it to…read moresay it wasn't nearly the deal I bargained for when I found I had to take time off work to use it. People were nice enough, but communication wasn't great. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early, and did. When I got there I found the door was unlocked, and could hear voices from a session somewhere in the back, but no one else was there... The ownership should take note that left all the valuable inventory, merchandise, essential oils, and therapeutic medications in the lobby unattended and entirely unsecured. Someone could literally have walked off with hundreds, even thousands of dollars worth of merch. The woman who eventually arrived - after I'd been standing around for over 10 minutes, was sweet and very helpful, but explicitly said she was new when I asked why I'd been asked to come early. The water in the foot spa was barely warm and did not appear to be fresh despite the fact that I was the first appointment of the day. Given that it was not very large, I expected the water to be new. Additionally, there was a second chair pulled up to it, as if clients may be expected to share the same footbath at the same time. Gross. The IR Sauna wasn't preheated. I reserved an hour - by the time the unit heated up to 150, the session was ending. I really wanted to like to Stillwater, but I won't check in there again.

I have gone to many massage therapist and chiropractors for various reasons over the last 50 years…read moreand I can say with complete honesty that Liz Card of Soma Healing in Louisville is the best of the best!!! She really cares about her patients (I consider myself her patient vs. customer). She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable while she heals you. If what she is doing hurts, she immediately backs off and goes at it in a diffent manner until you are in fact healed. You never feel uncomfortable about telling her if something she's doing is " too much". I have gone to her feeling like I was 100 years and left feeling like a kid again. Compared to some chiropractors, she is an angel come to earth to help us poor suffering humans... I will never waste money on a chiropractor again!!!

This form of massage also relieves swelling, reduces muscle tension and toxins which can build up in the body's soft tissues during demanding athletic performance. 2. Hot Stone Massage Therapy: This type of massage involves the therapist using heated, smoothed, flat Basalt stones which are placed on key points of the body. The stones are also used as the therapist holds them in their hands during the massage itself to help rejuvenate and relax the tissues quicker. The stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heating device until they are within 127 to 135 degrees. Basalt stones are usually the size of a large egg, and are rich in iron, therefore they can retain the heat for longer periods of time. 3. Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds each muscle and interconnects all internal components of the body, such as the organs. This tissue specifically can store physical or emotional memories due to trauma (such as surgical procedures) and by helping to release it physically, some believe that it may help eliminate emotional components.

Had an amazing prenatal massage by Toni today. First time trying Element and can not recommend…read moreenough! Clean, relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and helpful front desk staff and good prices & services with many options & therapists. Toni was amazing, she listened to my focus areas and did an amazing job with everything. I have had many massages and can be quite picky, I am very happy I have found my new go to here at element and my therapist Toni!

When I called to schedule an appointment I liked how the receptionist gave me details on the…read moreavailable massage therapists for my requested day. She advised me that one was more relaxing in her technique while the other specialized in a more methodical approach. I chose the latter because she said she also had Thai-massage training/expertise. This was originally going to be a one star review, based on my experience with that first masseuse. I will not say her name, but none of the other reviews mention this person, so maybe just request one of the names you find with kind regards in the reviews and you'll be safe. I knew off the bat that this wasn't going to go well. First of all, my fault for assuming... I won't expand on that. But this kid put all her weight on me and I felt nothing, but heard her bones/joints cracking every time she tried to apply pressure. She had no consistency in her technique and it lacked fluidity. Her hands were off me half the time so there was a major disconnect there. The one or two times that she was doing good in an area she'd stop after a 2 or 4-count (yep, I had started to count by this point) and wouldn't follow through or repeat that movement in the adjacent area. It was supposed to be a 90 minute session, but it only lasted 75 minutes, and again, no hands were on me for about half of that time. Then she rushed me as I was getting dressed at the end. I was so annoyed leaving that room! So why is this a 4-star review? 1- Because of the 5-star customer service from the lady at the front desk. She could sense my dissatisfaction and made the effort to make it right. She did not charge me for that session. She offered to put me with another masseuse, who she promised did excellent work. Furthermore, she offered to still allow me to get the new client rate if I rebooked. Great! 2 - I returned a few days later for an hour session with Shay. This woman is phenomenal! The room temperature was perfect. My table warmers were on, just like I love them to be. She asked all the questions to make sure my experience would be top notch. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep. My session actually lasted the full hour too. The only thing I'd do different next time is book a longer session with Shay. (My only tiny complaint was that the music volume was a little too high, but I didn't mention it.) I was in such a state of euphoric bliss after that session that I felt like I was floating. (Is this what it feels like to be high??) Also, I slept like a baby that night, and awoke feeling amazing! So yes, it was a complete bust the first go 'round. But these employees and/or management team really know how to de-escalate a situation and turn it around from a one-star experience to a 5-star experience. I would 100% return the next time I'm in CO.
