The foot spa is a wonderful indulgence, and her naturopathic practices have helped our family in a number of positive ways. Thanks so much for all you do and all you give, Dr. Hart and company :)

Hours are actually 12 pm - 4 pm, not 9 am - 7 pm as advertised here and on Groupon. Suffice it to…read moresay it wasn't nearly the deal I bargained for when I found I had to take time off work to use it. People were nice enough, but communication wasn't great. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early, and did. When I got there I found the door was unlocked, and could hear voices from a session somewhere in the back, but no one else was there... The ownership should take note that left all the valuable inventory, merchandise, essential oils, and therapeutic medications in the lobby unattended and entirely unsecured. Someone could literally have walked off with hundreds, even thousands of dollars worth of merch. The woman who eventually arrived - after I'd been standing around for over 10 minutes, was sweet and very helpful, but explicitly said she was new when I asked why I'd been asked to come early. The water in the foot spa was barely warm and did not appear to be fresh despite the fact that I was the first appointment of the day. Given that it was not very large, I expected the water to be new. Additionally, there was a second chair pulled up to it, as if clients may be expected to share the same footbath at the same time. Gross. The IR Sauna wasn't preheated. I reserved an hour - by the time the unit heated up to 150, the session was ending. I really wanted to like to Stillwater, but I won't check in there again.

Soma Healing Massage Therapy - Pre-natal and Post-partum massage should not be considered a luxury, but rather a necessity for the Mother's overall well-being.

Soma Healing Massage Therapy

I have gone to many massage therapist and chiropractors for various reasons over the last 50 years…read moreand I can say with complete honesty that Liz Card of Soma Healing in Louisville is the best of the best!!! She really cares about her patients (I consider myself her patient vs. customer). She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable while she heals you. If what she is doing hurts, she immediately backs off and goes at it in a diffent manner until you are in fact healed. You never feel uncomfortable about telling her if something she's doing is " too much". I have gone to her feeling like I was 100 years and left feeling like a kid again. Compared to some chiropractors, she is an angel come to earth to help us poor suffering humans... I will never waste money on a chiropractor again!!!

This form of massage also relieves swelling, reduces muscle tension and toxins which can build up in the body's soft tissues during demanding athletic performance. 2. Hot Stone Massage Therapy: This type of massage involves the therapist using heated, smoothed, flat Basalt stones which are placed on key points of the body. The stones are also used as the therapist holds them in their hands during the massage itself to help rejuvenate and relax the tissues quicker. The stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heating device until they are within 127 to 135 degrees. Basalt stones are usually the size of a large egg, and are rich in iron, therefore they can retain the heat for longer periods of time. 3. Myofascial Release Treatment: A safe and highly effective manual therapy that involves applying slow, sustained pressure to help release tension in the fascial layers using little to no lotion. Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds each muscle and interconnects all internal components of the body, such as the organs. This tissue specifically can store physical or emotional memories due to trauma (such as surgical procedures) and by helping to release it physically, some believe that it may help eliminate emotional components.
