My words by far, THE best customer service assistant I've ever come accross I'm a store. I'm looking into the a6000 and an all in one. I've literally been researching months. I've had bad demos at other best buy stores that led to my indecisiveness. This guy knew what he was doing and if he didn't he would figure it out in seconds. He had a no n.s approach. As the frustrations build during the work day, I play my Jesus music. I still have a job, and no felony arrests for violent acts, so it must be working. Realizing how vital this simple piece of equipment is, I decided to run into Best Buy and grab another pair of $88 earbuds so I can work tomorrow. (That's only $22 a year for the math nerds and a worthwhile insurance policy if you ask me.) I was asked repeatedly if I needed help. Repeatedly, I said no. I know what I'm after. I'm pretty introverted at times (especially at the end of a work day when I'm late for my house) and had no desire for help. Navigated my way quickly to the earbud section. Found the new version of the earbuds I loved so much. Grabbed them. Then...I went to the counter. Now I understand that the checker was doing his job... But seriously Best Buy.... If it weren't exactly what I was looking for, I would've left them on the counter and walked out. I haven't been asked that many questions for a single $88 purchase in all my life. No, I don't want your protection plan, no matter what you try to say to convince me. It was over the top and I'm sure he missed his spiff for the upsale. (Sorry Mr. Guy behind the counter just working and doing what he's told to do.) I don't want a credit card. I don't want to round up for whatever charity program you have going on. I don't want to tell you my favorite color or astrological sign (didn't really happen, but it felt like it.) I don't want to be on your mailing list. I WANT TO PAY AND LEAVE. I'M LATE FOR MY HOUSE. My phone carrier suggested I call Batteries Plus Bulbs. Nick and Mike could not have been more helpful. I described my problem and they looked up the battery I needed. Because of the current situation they didn't think they could get the battery before Friday. I went to the store and they helped me find a wall charger, tested it on my phone and I'm now up and running again. Two professional, compassionate young men who are there to serve.
