Doctor was OK yet I have never heard from the him about this situation, so not sure he was as good as I had hoped. To start with the girl who takes the BP had to take it 3 times to get it right, then the Doctor had to take it. I was just there to meet a new doctor and get my usual meds since the last doctor wasn't very good at least his PA wasn't, never saw the doctor. So I decided to get a new doctor and Sanderson was recommended so I went for a general check-up and to establish a patient/doctor relationship. He recommended I have some blood tests done, which I agreed to, but it had to be preventative so my insurance would pay 100% he agreed to that and wrote wellness on the lab paper. I get the labs done and get a bill for all the labs. I called Sanderson's office and the billing dept said I had a pre-existing condition, to which I said I have been with the same insurance company over 20 years, there is nothing pre-existing. They refused to change the billing, I said the doctor agreed that it was preventative. I have never heard any results, and even the insurance company tried dealing with them. I have never heard from the doctor so not sure he was as good as I hoped. I wouldn't deal with such unethical people and I won't pay their bill until they fix their mistake. Dr. Sanderson's staff is awful!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, have no clue why it affects the doctor's billing staff if I pay or the insurance company pays for the labs, it wasn't in their office. read more
