Great office staff, personable demeanor. Dr. Diner provides great care and very open to non-surgical options. An excellent physician.

Dr. Kapadia is a capable and very professional urologist with a good level of experience and…read moreexpertise. He seems to keep up with developments in the field. I had some surgery done by him a few years back and it went successfully. While he seems to have succumbed a bit to the recent fad of the PSA test (with many false positives resulting in a lot of unnecessary procedures, which are good for the doctor's pocket book but not for the patient's health..), he does not insist and accepts a no. Personally, he is a decent guy, and one can have an intelligent conversation with him. The only really negative side of this shop is communication. A simple inquiry about a prescription with the Nurse turns typically into a multi-day ordeal with many calls and left messages to the Nurse, who notoriously does not get back. They do not use email (the reason for that given was so stupid, that I cannot repeat it here...), everything must be faxed (who still has a fax machine these days??). So all in all, not such a great experience, but it seems that most doctors offices are quite behind the times when it comes to customer service and communication. I guess they have you by the balls (literally in this case...;-).

Although he performed the TURP well on my father (competent surgeon), Dr. Kapadia was so certain…read morethat his high PSA was cancer that he "confirmed" it before receiving the negative test results--this after I'd told him about all of the quite high PSAs and negative biopsies in his past. When I asked how to get my father off of the foley catheter after the surgery (since it was a potential focus of infection), he proceeded to give me his medical credentials and said that he would come off of the foley when it was time. No bedside manner whatsoever, arrogant.
