They dropped what they were doing and went right to work. They were on the phone and the computer for over an hr. They were able to get me the answers I wasn't able to get. They did all this before I was even their customer. I could tell they cared about helping me, not worried if I was their customer or not! I wish I could give ZERO star review because that equals the amount of service I personally received from Dan Stell. Like the previous reviewer, I inherited investments from my mother, was fully expecting to leave the money with Edward Jones, until I met with Dan Stell. IF he would have said nothing, I would have left a substantial amount of money invested with EJ. However, I needed to pay off some high interest credit cards and asked SEVERAL times what I would need to do to cash in some of the investments. He digressed into story after story about why that would be a bad idea that would be and how great he was at investing. Looking at the money I could save by paying off debt versus what was being made on investments each month, I felt like this was a no brainer. Long story short, Dan Stell actually talked me OUT of being a customer. His complete inability to directly answer legit questions caused me to liquidate my inherited assets. This Edward Jones location is incapable of minimal customer service. Requests go ignored - I had to call their St. Louis office to get anything done. My personal experience requires me to suggest you look anywhere but here for investment opportunities. Dan Stell is an idiot and his staff is incompetent.
