I had gotten sick and forgot to cancel, so that was not related to anything the office did. They were ultimately just following up about my care, which I appreciated. What stood out to me is that they truly make time for you. It does not feel like one of those offices where they are juggling multiple patients at once and the dentist is working on 3 people at once. The cleaning was great as well, and although I forgot the tech's name, she was thorough and quite informed. I'm def going back for my cleanings with this tech. My care with Dr. Janice felt especially thoughtful and focused. She kept me informed every step of the way and clearly explained the risks and benefits of different treatment options. I really value that, because many dentists do not give the full picture unless they are trying to steer you in a certain direction. Here, the discussion felt balanced, transparent, and aligned with what I already understood about my dental history and what I had previously been told might happen. I was also impressed that she understood my situation before I even had to explain it fully. A lot of the time, I find myself filling in the background first before a provider adjusts their view. That was not the case here. Highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new dentist. I already had Invisalign underway with another provider, but otherwise I probably would have done it here.

Checked the reviews and it appeared to be ok. After just one visit, I immediately started looking for another dentist. No issues with the staff. Everyone we talked to prior to our appointment and on the day of, was very friendly. The issue we had was with our dentist. She was so unprofessional from the way that she spoke to us, to the way that she was dressed. She did both of our examinations in what I can only describe as a party dress. Maybe she was going somewhere immediately after, but not what I would expect. But even more concerning is her examinations. She told me that she was going to clean my teeth but would only do half of it, and that I needed to schedule a second appointment within a week to do a "deep clean". I am 45 and have NEVER had a cavity. So I was shocked that my teeth would be that bad. She said the same thing to my wife and also told my wife that she had 6 cavities!!! We left feeling confused and unsure about this dentist. The next day my wife called to see if we can get a copy of our records and the X-rays. They NEVER followed up with us. We waited on this review until we could verify and get a second opinion. Our insurance would not cover another check up until 6 months later, so we finally got confirmation from our new dentist...which we loved!! No cavities for either of us, and a normal cleaning. We didn't tell our new dentist anything, and waited to see what he would say. Our teeth are perfect! Beware of Florabel Oliver-Badillo. Something is not right and could end up costing you BIG!

He also never pushes you to do anything extra, and is always upfront about costs and what insurance will cover. I always enjoy chatting with him, and I really appreciate that he uses numbing gel on my gums before cleaning (when I tell him I have sensitive gums). The office is generally clean, and it's nice that you can watch Netflix on the TV overhead. However, I feel that his front desk staff/hygienists have really gone downhill. Over the past couple of years, they have been pretty unfriendly whenever I come in. They also get annoyed/frustrated at me when I have trouble doing X-rays; they just kept shoving the apparatus forcefully into my mouth over and over again even when I keep gagging (and they actually cut the corner of my mouth). Finally when Dr. Q came over he showed them how to do it properly without causing a gag reflex. The last straw was when I had bad pain in my upper gums and I tried to make a followup appointment with his front desk staff; the lady I spoke to actually said I just needed to "brush better" and was very reluctant to make an appt for me initially. Another one of his staff said I probably "chew too much on that side of my mouth". I felt pretty insulted being dismissed by his staff like that, when the actual problem was I had an impacted wisdom tooth that needed to be removed asap (as Dr. Q informed me). I might consider switching dentists soon if I keep getting treated like this by his staff, even though Dr. Q is a great dentist.
