I'd already had two exams that month at other offices that wanted a deep cleaning first; I told this office that clearly before driving an hour. It felt like a timeshare presentation..pushy staff surrounding me, nonstop sales pressure, uncomfortable and bizarre. They wanted to grind down multiple healthy teeth for crowns (I'm young with strong enamel and good teeth) and claimed I'd need an extra $800 per tooth on top of insurance because they use an in-house lab for their porcelain. They offered no real warranty and said the advantage I'd just come back and pay them for any future issues. They also floated multiple root canals "we won't know until we dig" and the deep cleaning would cost approximately an extra $2,000 on top of my deductible and solid PPO (normally approx $100). Everything was framed with fear language and "special laser" claims that sounded like basic care upsold. They billed insurance over $1,200 for what was supposed to be an exam + cleaning + filling (prior exams elsewhere were under $200), but instead only charged that amount for the exam. They burned through my annual maximum on repeated X-rays, photos, and cameras which is far more invasive than a standard 360, and I left feeling tortured for 2 hours for revenue; not getting anything tangible done and only being sold to for 2 hours (it felt like honestly psychologically too much). I went to a third dentist after this because I was so mind boggled, who confirmed no cracks or damage, just possible fibers that were exaggerated, and was baffled they wanted to destroy healthy teeth for porcelain (see pic attached, I know they're not model material but NO WAY they all need to be chopped down for fake teeth wtf!!!!. He suggested reporting them. I requested all records and anything I signed; I still haven't received them. They claimed no third-party chart or account when I read the privacy release and said no way, yet I've gotten 12+ emails with my personal information about chart updates. Highly do not recommend! Very aggressive upselling, fear tactics, and questionable billing that would be especially predatory for older patients or immigrants. I'm considering a formal report.

Checked the reviews and it appeared to be ok. After just one visit, I immediately started looking for another dentist. No issues with the staff. Everyone we talked to prior to our appointment and on the day of, was very friendly. The issue we had was with our dentist. She was so unprofessional from the way that she spoke to us, to the way that she was dressed. She did both of our examinations in what I can only describe as a party dress. Maybe she was going somewhere immediately after, but not what I would expect. But even more concerning is her examinations. She told me that she was going to clean my teeth but would only do half of it, and that I needed to schedule a second appointment within a week to do a "deep clean". I am 45 and have NEVER had a cavity. So I was shocked that my teeth would be that bad. She said the same thing to my wife and also told my wife that she had 6 cavities!!! We left feeling confused and unsure about this dentist. The next day my wife called to see if we can get a copy of our records and the X-rays. They NEVER followed up with us. We waited on this review until we could verify and get a second opinion. Our insurance would not cover another check up until 6 months later, so we finally got confirmation from our new dentist...which we loved!! No cavities for either of us, and a normal cleaning. We didn't tell our new dentist anything, and waited to see what he would say. Our teeth are perfect! Beware of Florabel Oliver-Badillo. Something is not right and could end up costing you BIG!
