So sad to say this. But the insurance was good for about two months. Then it just kept going up and up from there. I get what everyone keeps saying. Its going up due to whatever the reason may be. But this went up another 10 dollars. I don't understand if you're older why am I paying so much. Also I got into a tiny accident with some idiot. Mind you nothing happened to this dudes car but the insurance took his side. Which I guarantee my car did not do. This guy just wanted to fix an old car accident he got into. And being we had the same insurance I guess his location looked out for him. While my dust that he claimed messed his car up was overlooked. If my damage was so bad a simple wipe woudl not havw fixed it. Mind you he wanted to settle away from the insurance after he thought he could scare me as if I did something wrong. All to say be careful who you sign up with. I didn't see the ratings on this location before. But I noticed its the same thing. You don't get responses quickly and the reasons used to why it goes up every month just doesn't make sense. Thanks for reading. read more

When I first got insurance here I was extremely satisfied with the customer service, it wasnt the same as most insurance companies. Kind, polite, and responding to me in a timely matter but that was just the front to get you in the door. I decided to switch my insurance companies after the first month because two reasons alone- I did not recieve proof of insurance until after I switch to Allstate, and for some reason they have meetings every 5 minutes. I then tried to cancel my account with them, all was well, we parted ways and moved on. And then they charged my credit card after I cancelled. I ended up getting a full refund, but still thats pretty shady they just happen to charge your card after you cancel. And then after another month they charge my card again, and this is already on a closed account. But this time I do not get a refund because the woman who deals with this in the office does not care. She literally started yelling at me on the phone as I was demanding my money back because I cancelled my account months prior to this. This time they ended up walking away with over $100 dollars of my money because she couldnt do her job correctly. It got to the point of me cancelling my credit card and getting a new one because they keep doing these fraudulent charges. The worst part about this is they keep sending me reminders that my credit card is going to expire. Why do they need your credit card info after you cancel? And its not because they were already sent out. I recieved 5 of these reminders and they keep coming. Like a horrible nightmare in the land of insurance who are supposed to give you hope. Once you give this office your information prepare yourself for fraud. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with anything in my entire existence. I wouldnt recommend getting insurance here, or any of the services they offer. They are thieves and just get you in the door so they can make money like true criminals. I have reported this office to the BBB and I make sure to tell everyone to stay away. Dont make the mistake I made. Dont let these crooks take your money. read more

I had 3 car and a renter's insurance from these guys. The rates were decent initially and so was the customer service. But gradually month after month the insurance rate kept on increasing. After some time i switched to Geico as they were offering $100 less. I called the company customer service and informed them to terminate the service. They said they will terminate the service and let my agent know about the change and they will contact me to get the cancellation procedure started. My credit card was getting charged as usual and no one called me for a month. I called several times to the agent's office and the State Farm customer service but all they said was they will call me asap. Ultimately, they send me a check which was less than the amount that they owe me. I have switched from Geico to Progressive to State Farm and now back to Geico but haven't had this kind of issue with respect to getting refunds and service cancellation. read more

This office is incompetent. They sold us insurance on our cars and home. We signed the forms and then two months later received a notice of cancellation of our policies in the mail. Nobody called us, emailed us or tried to rectify the issue. When we called them they said we never signed the forms. We did sign the forms. To this date we cannot get a hold of Eric Esch and are not sure if this person actually exists. But his office did reach out and try to sell us life insurance after this debacle. read more

Three weeks ago, on December 4th 2017, our family lost my father. Needless to say, to everyone who experiences death in the family, such events have a devastating impact both emotionally and psychologically. Our family wasn't an exception. No matter how "prepared " you are, or how "expected" the outcome is, it hits you like a hurricane. Another thing you would never expect to happen that also throws you for a loop: your insurance company not paying out the final expense cost you had been paying premiums on. A mistake was made due to human error, communication mishap, messages crossed, emails were misplaced, whatever you want to call it - the result was catastrophic. Our family didn't get the needed coverage, not even a fraction of the cost of what was supposed to be a huge support in the funeral coverage. And so my family and I would like very much to thank Eric Esch, a Glenview State Farm agent who went out of his way, above and beyond what's expected in his role, to fix the problem. We are very grateful to Eric for helping us and for being kind, compassionate, and professional in our time of need. I'm also extremely greatful to the State Farm company for rising up to the occasion and showing it's best side during a difficult situation. We have been with State Farm for over 25 years and have always trusted and highly valued our relationship with them. I'm proud to say, that we continue to stand by State Farm - the way they handled this situation did not disappoint us as their long term clients. Thank you for being there for us! I used to pay a fortune for my insurance...I even tried Geico since they're supposedly always 15% less, but when I looked into State Farm with Eric Esch, they quoted me considerably less for highest coverage for everything. I've now been with them for over four years, have had my personal health insurance through them, renters' insurance as well as my auto insurance. They're a great company - every time I call, they promptly call back and everyone there is super knowledgeable and can usually answer all my questions (I'm definitely a high-maintenance client). I've just had the best experience with them and this is one of the few big companies left that doesn't immediately send you to their automated recordings.
