Recently, with Chris's help, I finally was able to buy a condo I'm in love with. As this is my very first time buying home, I had so many questions and Chris would always patiently answer all of my questions in detail. Before I first talked to Chris, I actually spoke to my parents' agent as my parents kept recommending him to me. However, the agent advised that he only covers Irvine. At the time I spoke to him, I was looking at multiple cities in Orange County and he advised that it'll be very hard to find an agent who covers multiple cities. I honestly felt that he wanted to only cover Irvine because Irvine is one of the most expensive cities to buy home in OC -- thus, more money for him. When I reached out to Chris, he was more than happy to show me around in any city in OC that I wanted to check out. Chris is very informative, proactive, and always replies/answers emails, txt msgs, or phone calls promptly. Also, whenever I signed a document with Chris, he would explain everything in detail and simply made my home purchase experience so much easier, smoother, and less stressful. He's always on tope of everything and very, very organized. He's always punctual and always goes above and beyond for his clients. I could feel that he genuinely wanted to make sure that I was happy with the condo I was purchasing rather than just seeing me as dollar signs and I really appreciate that about him. I'm already looking forward to buying my 2nd home in near future with Chris! :)

If you are looking for the realtor of your dreams look no further. Just contact Colin Farris!…read more After a grueling two years nursing my only son, I inherited his very neglected house and dreaded the selling process. From our first encounter Colin delved deep into the case and never got distracted by competing priorities. He was especially good at always keeping me in the loop regarding developments, and patiently helping me with the challenging "disclosure" process. He also worked cooperatively with my out-of-town referral realtor and together they bent over backwards to protect my interests in the sale. A distressed property was sold in less than three weeks at an excellent price, thanks to Colin's diligence from beginning to end. I do not usually write reviews but, in this instance, I am happy to endorse Colin as an exception in a very competitive field. Pauline, San Juan Capistrano (Posted on behalf of Pauline)

Colin Farris was EXACTLY who we needed on our side to be searching our desired neighborhoods and getting us in to see properties (even amidst Covid!) early. Colin is knowledgeable about south OC, but San Juan Capistrano especially. Colin found our (new!) home as a pocket listing from the listing agent, he sent us walk-thru videos before it was officially on the market. His quick, professional and kind communication with us as well as the listing agent allowed us to see the home that same day and we placed an offer than night. He was ready with all necessary paperwork, making the hardest part of the process as swift and simple as possible. Colin was always willing to offer further explanation on (any!) part of the process that felt confusing. Things move fast and he was always a step ahead of the game. We loved working with him because he is kind, generous with his time and professional, but ultimately we loved his love for what he does--he worked hard and fast to find us our perfect first home. I also love that he has a family and knows the value and safety and what we were looking for. Colin has a finish carpentry background, which gives him the perspective and experience while walking through a property that came in handy when we had questions about potential renovations, etc. I learned SO much just while walking through properties with him. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Colin and his team at Farris Residential. If you're looking for someone who is kind, cares deeply, communicates clearly and quickly, works hard, works fast, is motivated, and is an expert in the Orange County area and knows the business, Colin Farris is your realtor! Can't thank Colin enough for getting us our first home!!!

Kevin Shuler, made the often difficult home buying process as easy as possible. From the start,…read moreKevin listened to me, asked me questions about what I wanted in a home and helped show me homes that fit that criteria. He set up a personalized email list so I could browse homes on my own time, he also emailed me hot homes that were in areas that he thought I might enjoy living. At no point in the home buying process did I feel pressured and I always knew that Kevin had my back. Before contacting Kevin my searches often involved looking on Zillow, Trulia and Redfin and driving by the occasional open house. After contacting Kevin I had the chance to see homes before they went on the market, which made making a competitive offer that much easier. Kevin also has a great reputation among other agents and the reason my offer was accepted was based on the other agent's desire to work with Kevin vs. taking a chance with some other person. Kevin also helped me get into the home for a lot less than asking, all based off of comps. Kevin gets the market, he understands financing and numbers and most of all he understands how to offer superior customer service for those looking for a home. Once making the offer, Kevin set me up with a transaction coordinator who helped with all of the paperwork process. This paperwork, an often daunting task, seemed effortless. I felt like I was treated like a million dollar client, even though I was not buying a million dollar home. He even managed to introduce me to some of my neighbors, made sure I understood the local community and provided a helpful list of contacts in case I needed any help. If you want a top agent, give Kevin a call.

I can't recommend Chris Livingston and the Livingston Group highly enough. Chris has now helped me…read morethrough three major transactions--buying my previous home, selling that same home, and purchasing my new condo--and he has been outstanding every step of the way. What really sets Chris apart is his judgment. When it came time to sell my home, he knew exactly how to price and position it. He understands the market, gives excellent advice, and knows when to push, when to be patient, and how to make the right decisions as things develop. I always felt that he was looking out for my best interests rather than simply trying to get a deal done. But what impresses me most about Chris is the level of personal attention he provides. He is incredibly responsive, dependable, and hands-on. He has been there to help with countless details, including things that most Realtors would probably consider well outside their job description. Even after the sale was completed, Chris continued to make himself available and help me with things related to the move and transition. Buying and selling a home can involve a lot of decisions and unexpected issues, and having someone you completely trust makes an enormous difference. Chris combines experience, market knowledge, great instincts, attention to detail, and genuine personal service. He doesn't disappear once the paperwork is signed--he stays involved and makes sure you're taken care of. After working with Chris as both a buyer and a seller, I wouldn't consider using anyone else. He is an exceptional Realtor and someone I recommend without hesitation.
