While I was absolutely baffled as to why I was being transferred you acted like I drank more than what I told you and asked if I was stupid. On another note, Liz Cupp is excellent! 2/5 stars While overall helpful with my case and arranging a plea deal the response I got in jail knocked this firm down from 3 stars to 2 stars.

After a night of binge drinking, my boyfriend came home to me sleeping and ended up causing a huge domestic disturbance. I ended up getting slapped with 2 charges. I was scared, VERY scared. A family friend recommended Steve after seeing some of his work and knowing was one of the best lawyers in the country (Top 10 Award was awarded I believe). In comparison to other attorneys, his fees may seem steep, but I believed I owed it to myself to fight as much as I could. Steve did a great job translating the judicial process to me, helped me outweigh my decisions, helped make sure I didn't have to miss work too much for court, and helped me attempt to live a normal life in the process. For the most part, I tried not to hound him and let him work... The last day in court is when he really shined. We rolled the dice and he ended up making a deal with the judge that we all were at peace with. He did appear in court by phone. He used my timeline and I created. I won the case because my ex wife didn't make sense to the court.. the custody and divorce paperwork was never followed up with completing orders to the court to finish the case and reversal of child support order. I never received the final order for divorce and child support from my attorney. The court sent all my documents to my attorney and he has not returned my call nor has he mailed them. I paid the court to receive them and submitted the final paperwork to the court so I would not be overpaying child support. For a 8k retainer free and additional expenses I never got a itemized statement and my phone calls were unanswered. I end up working with the court to submit all my own documents. Like I said pretty nice guy just the follow through a are a little alarming for the price. Wish I could have spoke to him more to get guidance and direction.

Wanted another 5k before helping any further with my case. So he fired me as a client, never returned my funds. I was able to solve the case myself, got a court appointed public defender, showed her the legality issues with the case and she got the case dropped basically immediately. All it took was a simple five minutes of my time to read the police report. What a great Attourney right?! Fink... shouldn't even have a license to practice!
