I met Eric Cable of Profile Photo, when I was a bridesmaid at a wedding in Oregon. ( I live in The Bay Area, in California). My friend's wedding photos were the most amazing wedding photos I had ever seen. She is also a photographer so of course she spent a lot of time picking one out and although she was on a tight budget, it was a high priority to have a great photographer. I was in awe.
When I got engaged, (my wedding was exactly two years later), I looked around at the photographers in my area and even the expensive ones were not nearly as good at capturing the mood, obtaining beautifully composed photos without posing anyone and all around just pure talent. His photos, and also his assistant that worked with him on both of our wedding, are artistic without losing the faces of the people and the fact that you want to see your guests. I saw so many photos of shoes and hands when I was websurfing, sometimes I didn't even know what the bride looked like!
So my solution was to hire Eric! He flew in, and I had him for two days, which was the only way he could make it to my early sunday wedding. He did a beautiful job with the wedding as well as the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. He and his assistant were with us from about 2pm Saturday till 8 that night, and then back at 8am until 6:30 Sunday night, and with travel, etc, I still paid about the same as I would for the "artsy" photographers in this area that I didn't like who offered one shooter/eight hours!!
He is so unimposing I forget he is even there. His assistant, Oren is also excellent in this way, and has been trained by Eric for several years. Our photos are gorgeous, I had to ask him to arrange the album for us because I could not begin to choose. We have the rights to all 760 photos on a DVD, a website, and a proof book as well. We felt like we had the time of our lives , our guests thought it was one of the best weddings ever, and I can't stop looking at these fabulous photos that reflect all those emotions. Thank you Eric and Oren!! read more
