I've ordered take out from a few different restaurants here in the Vilseck area, and I must say…read morethat I have to repeat myself what feels like a million times because they don't understand what I'm trying to say and I don't speak German... but I appreciate that they put the effort, although most times orders get messed up. The process of ordering through Cheers was absolutely seamless.i don't even have to pick up my phone to speak to someone to place my order. You can do so online on their website: https://www.cheers-restaurant.de You can also pay with a credit/debit card which is nice since most places accept cash only. Just a heads up, if paying with a card, you won't enter your card info online- they bring the machine to close the transaction at the time of delivery so have your credit/debit card handy for the driver when you answer the door! Make sure to have euros to tip your delivery driver as you cannot add a tip to the bill on your card. They have such an extensive menu to satisfy almost any cravings you and your family or friends may have! On the website, each menu item is accompanied with a photo! If you order the pizza, and would like a pizza to share amongst three or four people, the medium size should do just fine. The breadsticks are delivered in what looks like a small pizza box; it's served with 6 breadsticks and comes with their homemade garlic sauce which is so tasty! I order one extra garlic sauce for €0.50 to dip my pizza and the crust in that's how much I love it. I was excited that they had Asian food as well on their menu since their is no Asian restaurants here and no other restaurants in the area have it on their menu. I ordered the Duck Fried Rice and Egg Rolls with a dip. The egg rolls dish comes with two very big delicious and flavorful rolls and definitely recommend. The dip was good, I'd call it a knock off duck sauce. I was surprised at how large the portion was for the Duck Fried Rice. My sister and I both ordered the same thing, but we could have very well split one order among us had we known how generous the portions were. There is an option to add more meat for an up-charge but the way it comes is plenty. Look at the attached photo to see for yourself. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is because I was not a fan of the duck fried rice dish- the texture and taste of the duck was just unpleasant. The fried rice itself was great though so hope my review of the duck not tasting well does not steer you away from ordering the Asian food on the menu. Just steer clear of the duck! If you'd like teriyaki sauce for the rice, it's just €0.50.! The two times we have ordered from here the delivery comes quickly and as ordered and food has been hot. The driver is also friendly! Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area whether going to dine in or if you are looking for good food to be delivered to your home!

Fast delivery and good food. The food isn't even expensive and you get a lot for what you pay for…read more I went out on a limb and ordered the Butter Chicken, and it's hands down amazing, they use jasmine rice as well, which is rare! I also ordered duck fried rice thinking it was mixed, it's not! It's a half bird of duck on top of fried rice!! Definitely worth the 9€!! My husband ordered the schnitzel dinner and was not disappointed either. We did delivery and we were told 45-1hr and they were here within 25 minutes. Definitely not bad at all. They do have burgers for delivery but I don't know how that'd even work out, so I didn't even risk it! LOL

Drinks were great as well and all items are very reasonably priced. Very cute decorations and relatively quiet ambiance with the option of outdoor seating. We will definitely be back! I have mixed emotions about this little neighborhood eatery. And to clarify, in the very small town…read moreof Hohenfels, it's one of maybe three options, so it certainly does well regarding a constant flow of customers. They have a small patio area that fills up pretty fast on certain days, and then about seven or eight decent size tables inside. The owner is also the operator who waits on you, serves you, and at times cleans up after you. However, that's the glitch, it just doesn't leave you with an impression of cleanliness. The food is pretty good, a wide variety of pizza, Italian pasta dishes and traditional German dishes. Fair prices and a decent beer selection, of course! Hey, it's Germany, so that's a given. Nevertheless, during the summer months they leave their doors open and the amount of flies inside are just so annoying. Seriously, it's like picnicking outside next to a sewage plant or something. Then I got to thinking, if there's that many flies in the dining area, there's bound to be that many in the kitchen as well. So I shudder to think of what really goes down in that kitchen. Well, let's just assume during the colder months things are a bit different. Cheers!

The Chinese was a restaurant I was hearing about on bas, When I first ordered for delivery, it took…read morethe food about 3 hours to get to me. I was confused on what was going on because when I called the lady told me "give me an hour, and 15 minutes" so I waited then I called after that hour and 15 minutes. She told me to wait, it will take time to get to me, I was confused because the store close at the time at 10 and it was 9:54. So I waited and I received a called around 10:39.. didn't know who it was because they were FaceTiming me, then after 5 minutes after that called I received an text they left it at the CQ desk, and which I went to look. I didn't see any food, so I called her to tell her CQ people was saying no they didn't see any food, she was lowkey being rude, she told me "well I left it at the CQ desk, and hung up in my face" So I called her again, she told me "well you have to wait till tomorrow to get the order again". I got the food the next day, and to be honest, the food was overrated, didn't taste well, I order the Thai soup dish with coconut milk, which I get back at home. It didn't have any flavor, the spring rolls were good, and the dumplings tasted like plastic. I was disappointed in the food I received... I will say the spring rolls were great tho.

The place is very cute-- like a 50s diner with some Asian deco. The food was ok. It seemed like…read moreit was cooked a little too long making the sauce very thick. The man i assume is the owner left to go on a delivery. A customer came in and sat down while he was out. When he got back from delivery, the man and woman who was the cook got into a loud argument. The man looked angry and sat down with the food he got from the kitchen. However, neither the man nor the woman (cook) acknowledged the customer that had come in even after the customer tried to get their attention which was during the argument. The argument made everyone in the restaurant uncomfortable. We looked at each other with questioning glances as if asking"is this going to escalate? "

If you're looking for Greek food in the Vilseck area, this is the place you should try first!…read moreDefinitely number 1 in the area with incredible flavors and options for every palette. Most visits, I enjoy eating the grilled pork, fries, and horiatiki salad on the side. (Greek Country Salad) It definitely won't disappoint. Filled with olives and a lovely piece of feta cheese. There is also a chicken and pork dish that is served with a white wine sauce and rice. It is so tasty! If you're coming here for the first time, this is definitely something you don't want to pass up on! If you're looking for an appetizer, the sampler is delicious. There is a wide variety of traditional Greek foods on it. My favorite is the stuffed red pepper with feta cheese. The service is quite pleasant most times and very quick. Portions are above average and priced reasonably. Don't skip out on enjoying some wine from their selection! The semi-sweet red is absolutely delicious!

A solid choice for greek food; but I didn't have time to try the other greek place on Marketplatz…read morefor comparison purposes. I ate late, so it was quiet and finding a table was easy. Kreta is fairly small, maybe a dozen or so tables of varying sizes, and it shares an entranceway from the street with another restaurant, so don't look for a dedicated doorway off Marketplat (just look across the street from Aladdin Grlll and slightly away from the clock tower). My Kritharakia (orzo with a tomato and meat sauce, topped with cheese and baked) was good and filling. The greek farm salad was exactly what I wanted; lots of tomatoes, cucumber, and onions with a couple olives, topped with two slices of feta and drizzled with olive oil and herbs. It wasn't some mind-blowing salad, but it was a nice change of pace to get so much fresh veggies in Germany. If I liked ouzo I'd have enjoyed the complementary shot of it that came with my Sprite, but I'm just not a fan of licorice-flavored liquor unfortunately.
