Charged me $510 and told me to try somebody else (recommended I call the plumber that originally installed it). That plumber had it pinpointed in minutes and got it solved. When I spoke with the owner of this company, he said his guys are trained to trial and error for 2 hours before actually trying something else, such as a camera. I would have had to pay another service call with minimums just for this guy to come back out and use the tool he should have used out the gate, but clearly, these guys would rather charge the $210-$300+ per hour to eventually solve the problem on my dime rather than use the right tools to begin with. Having run service businesses for over 20 years, that is a very poor business practice. Use the right tools, troubleshoot properly, and charge appropriately. I would have been fine to pay the $510 and then some to get it right. However, I'm not sure that this would have been solved for less than $1,500-$2,000 with these guys. The owner was upset that I suggested they did a poor job and refused to refund anything. He did offer half off one hour of a future service call, and I told him I didn't trust them to do future service, so he basically fired me as a customer and hung up on me. Terribly unprofessional. Never doing business with them again, and you should think twice before trusting them!

We had 19 pipes burst during the big freeze last year. We patched those areas but knew we were in…read moredanger of hairline fractures opening up with changing temps etc. We shopped around for a re-pipe from copper to pex, and for someone to do it right. At the same time we wanted to replace our two 50 gallon water heaters with a single tankless system. We consistently heard from potential companies a) that we should only re-pipe the attic not the walls (because the walls were difficult, but we had had breaks on exterior walls) and b) a single tankless wouldn't work in our home that is just shy of 3500 square feet and one story (lots of long runs of pipe). Cody Huffman and Tier One came in here and heard our concerns and knew we wanted the job done once and done right. They researched the tankless heaters and designed a recirculation system for us. They completed the entire job, full re-pipe including in walls, and a tankless system for less than the estimates of others. We could not be more pleased. Hot water, all the time, throughout the house. And we are sleeping much better feeling protected from weather and age related breaks. We HIGHLY recommend Cody and his team at Tier One! They were reasonable, super friendly, prompt and very professional. I received amazing service, and they provided the detail i needed to make an informed decision. Later after purchasing a house, we had a minor plumbing issue. I called Iron Horse and the person answering the phone actually remembered working with me before, she was extremely nice, listened to the problem and was able to fit us in on a Friday afternoon so we didn't have to spend an entire weekend without water.
