Unless you like getting ripped off and spending a lot of time and aggravation booking a vacation rental, steer clear of any properties managed by Towns Property Management.

First, I did not choose pure or alpha. My marvelous manager sold her business to these bozos. Pretty much every interaction was a headache. For the first few months, pure did not have the staff to deal with my rental!!! Of course they charged me 10%. It took days and several emails or phone calls to hear back from them. One of their employees told me they recently bought two businesses and were very understaffed. Jaw droopingly stupid. Buying a business isn't like buying groceries where you walk in and walk out. Buying a business takes time and contracts. Who or whatever owns pure chose not to prioritize hiring staff to deal with all their new clients. My tenants were furious simple requests were not dealt with in a timely manner. One tenant had an emergency situation and no one from pure called back within 2 hours. He called me and I had my handyman go and fix it. I could go on and on. In my 30 years of owning rental property, these people are the worst I've ever dealt with. And if they can't keep the people who hire them happy, I know they weren't taking care of my tenants.

Tessier is terrible at communicating. They were even worse when we rented, but not much better as owners. The building manager assigned to our building also lacks competent communication skills and only responds to condo board managers. Regular owners aren't worth her time. She is petty and vindictive and rarely responds to questions in a reasonable time. Also beware that they nickel and dime the buildings they manage. Their fees seem reasonable at first, but they act as a shell for a maintenance company that charges way too much for the handyman services they provide.
