In ornamentation, it resembles Carson Pirie Scott, with similar scroll work and designs. In form, however, it is quite different, with its large arched windows and smaller ones on the side section. It is beautifully restored, and the interior ornament is just as fine as that outside if not better. Note the spectacular large stained glass windows and the mural inside. The bank occupying the building allows photography of the interior other than the vault. Owatonna is a charming little town as well. If you are traveling through Minnesota on I-35 and are at all interested in architecture, take a few moments to pull off the highway and see this!

Called on a Saturday afternoon and the bank was closed. Called the number on the back of the card and the only help available was a lost and stolen number that could do absolutely nothing because there was no fraud and we hadn't lost a card. We had other sources of funds so not that big of a deal. Now this weekend my son is traveling for school and is running into the same issue with the card not working after assurance from people at the bank confirming that everything will be just fine and work. Guess what, it's on a Saturday after noon and the bank does not have anyone available until MONDAY again and my son does not have the other fund options we have so he is stuck. Not currently happy with my small local bank and not being able to solve problems when they happen outside of their inconvenient hours.
