The only thing adding up is our stress, drama and pure exhaustion from working with Armor! As painful as this is to post, I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Armor, a company and family member I trusted with a project close to my heart one that I have dedicated nearly two decades of hard work to reaching this phase. The agreement was to hire Armor Tech / David for $21,000 to manufacture a proprietary product based on my intellectual property, with signed agreements in place. I personally increased the quote by $6,000 - for a final total of $27,000 to support the level of commitment, minimize future disputes, and ensure the project's success by David with a strong starting point. After 23 months of further delays, videos, communications promising us completion by Thanksgiving of 2023, come New Years there was no progress again! - the fear and reality started to creep in that Armor was unable or unwilling to finish this product with us and today we are still without! Despite David, I was shocked, deeply embarrassed by his unprofessional behavior, lack of integrity, and blatant disregard for my team and our damages he has caused us to incur over the past 3 years and what limitations are ahead due to his future damages caused. My faith in Armor, their ethical business practices, initially fueled by their enthusiasm for an "easy" project where "idiots" previously created comparable products, was quickly shattered and never restored. We never thought that we would never see any of our equipment, information, or any deliverables, nor to be given them when asked for them to be returned. No workability or actionable steps by David for a resolution, remediation is extremely deliberate with malicious intent, proving this company can't be trusted!! Have struggled for a number of years with our businesses system being very slow. Comcast has…read morechecked all their equipment, nothing. 2 or 3 consultants were out and still could not get over 68Mbps, occasionally, but rarely getting into the 90s. Met Devin through the DeKalb IL Chamber. Came out to check my system and identified that the cabling, supposedly CAT5, was my chokepoint with one of the cables only having 3 wires. On our main customer counter computer, his diagnostics showed the hard drive had many errors and the server hard drives were not an "optimal" configuration. He fixed the cabling, and all but one computer is showing 350+ Mbps down with less than an hour of work. Why isn't the one computer doing it? The hardware is limited to 100 Mbps. I have a new one on order from Mfgr and ordered a new server, with SSD storage, from ATS that really is not much more dollar-wise than a decent average PC. Finally, have some peace of mind that I have someplace to turn when I have a PC/Network related issue.

Any changes I made were made independently and were not discussed with this company because communication from them was extremely limited. I find their response deceptive because it creates a narrative that is inconsistent with my actual experience and appears designed to shift attention away from the issues I raised. Their response also demonstrates my original concern: instead of directly addressing the lack of transparency, the promised monthly check-ins that never occurred, or providing specific evidence of what was accomplished for my business, they offered another lengthy, generalized explanation of their service. Saying reports "can" be produced does not explain why meaningful reporting was not proactively provided during my paid service term. I stand by my review. **************************************Very displeased with this company and the optima program. There is a lack of communication, structure and transparency. There is no way to prove that what they are doing is even helping the business. I don't know what I don't know, so even when I ask questions it's not explained in a way that really gives answers. Mostly the same regurgitated sales pitch. There should be something to show that what they are doing is moving the needle. For the cost of the program, there's not enough being shown to the client to let us know what has been done. Sometime during my program, I shared my issues and was reassured that they would do better to meet me where I'm at and, lo and behold, nothing changed. One specific thing I mentioned was monthly checkins. They agreed, and that did not happen. After a while, I just accepted it for what it was and decided to stop complaining and just let the subscription run out. I will not be renewing and I would never recommend them to a small business.
