Dr Sung is the most thorough and honest doctor I've met. She takes the time to sit with me every visit and explain treatment and answer all my questions in detail without rushing. Her staff is very gentle with my senior dog even though my dog isn't the easiest to deal with. They accommodated me during emergencies and helped me avoid a very expensive ER visit. Her prices are the most reasonable and affordable in the area. I called around and visited 4 different clinics in Fullerton and she is by far the most affordable. However, that does not mean the quality is any less. My husband and I always talk about how blessed we are to have found this place. We have a peace of mind and finally settled at one clinic. Which i asked about in the initial meeting. Ended up causing that obstruction to cause permanent damage. Btw. The referral for treatment. Was for 11 days later. Imagine the extra unnecessary damage occurring a shame there is so much poor care.

I had bought medicine and the receptionist was kind and said she would refund it as I just had it an hour and my pup didn't use it. I had to put my pup down and they have this cart to help you and your cat or dog, they cut some of her fur and put it in a bottle and took some paw and nose prints with some calm background music. My pup had already been a bit sedated for X-rays but it was just a calm way for her to cross the rainbow bridge. I appreciate the receptionist, vet tech and Dr. Heit, I can't remember everyone's name it was a whirlwind. It's never easy saying goodbye but having it be a peaceful goodbye means so much and people who care.

Our new puppy was pooping blood and we were very concerned about that. We wanted to get her in right away. Thankfully, this veterinary hospital had an appointment. The veterinarian was great. Very thorough with explaining testing and treatment. They ran bloodwork and requested a stool sample. We got some prescription probiotics for her to take with food. The bloodwork came back good. Just waiting on the stool sample results. In the meantime, the prebiotic and probiotic powder is helping. This is a very good veterinary clinic. They were super professional and seem to be very knowledgeable about canine health.

On Wednesday, 08/12, I arrived 10 minutes early for my kitty's appointment. The reception couldn't check us in until 2 PM. As soon as 2 PM, I got up to stand in line but there was another person who arrived and went straight to the reception. In other words, I stood behind the person even though I came in first. I didn't mind at all. Nurse Brenda, who was on the phone at that time, intervened and told the receptionist to make sure she checked me in first. She's very attentive and I couldn't emphasize how much I appreciated her for noticing little details. In addition, I noticed how genuine she is not just delivering great customer service but also with every pet she checks in for treatment. What time was your appointment scheduled for?" Then the "Pet Nurse" (according to her name tag) Brenda pops her head out and the other tech tells her what happened. Brenda then takes me inside to go to the computer and find my info. While we're in there, she takes an attitude with me. Turns out the person I spoke to was the new hire and she screwed up all the way around. Didn't even out my info in the computer! Instead of rectifying the situation and offering an apology, Brenda then just says "well, sorry, you should've been told our policy." I then tell her I can't do any other day and I guess I have to go elsewhere and I walk out. Full disclosure, I was irritated and did throw some attitude back at Brenda, but she made it out to be my fault when it was your new hire's fault. Yeah, I'm done. He brought her to OC Veterinary Medical Center, where she tragically tested positive for parvo. Devastated, overwhelmed, and completely alone, my son called us in tears. What followed is the reason I will forever recommend this clinic. Instead of just handing him a massive bill or turning him away, Dr. Barnes and the incredible staff wrapped their arms around him. They patiently guided him through every single step, outlining his options and coordinating her care--even sending him to another clinic for a specific antibody shot before bringing her back to OC Vet for her full treatment. My son called me and said, "Mom, I feel like everyone here really cares. They are so patient and thorough, you don't feel like a number." Knowing they are fighting right alongside him has made an incredibly stressful situation bearable.
