I normally go to the LIjnbaansgracht location, so this is really a step up! It's more spacious, cleaner, light and it has the whole functional area with TRX, ketlte bells, core bags and all that. The drawbacks are the staff who isn't all that friendly, the very limited group class schedule and you have to pay for tokens to use the shower. Who's ever heard of a gym that charges for SHOWERS?? Also, the cleaners are always in your way when you use the functional area and will clean the floor around you while you're in the middle of the workout.. then the floors are wet and I am slipping... Overall, still cleaner and less crowded than other locations.

With only one big exercise space that has lots of natural light and amazing floors, this studio offers a variety of classes to suit all fitness levels. I've done their barre class and let me tell you, the day after- my body was a mess. What that should tell you is that I had to work super hard and if my muscles were writing this review, they'd be screaming noooooooo! The classes are in English, which by the way, is awesome for expats and locals alike so I'm just glad I managed to find this place! Next on my list is their (outdoor) bootcamp, barre and beats and yin yoga classes! And like I said, classes are suitable for all fitness levels so get those exercise pants on and get to it because I swear, summer is coming!

It's the worst experience with a gym I've ever had…read more I've literally trained at hundreds of gyms in the last 10 years and this was by a very long stretch, the worst. For the love of good rethink where you workout before choosing this gym. My girlfriend experienced a very similar scenario (debt collectors and couldn't gain access to the gym) so this is not an isolated incident. I did not end up getting a regular membership though for a few reasons: 1) quite a high price (though admittedly it's the Amsterdam standard) 2) they charge you for the class if you 'book' a spot and don't show up, PLUS they block you from signing up online if you are a no-show too frequently -- this is too difficult for someone as flighty as me, I hate having to book in advance at all! 3) It's TOO popular - every time I went the room was ridiculously crowded, and classes booked up almost as soon as they were posted. Of course I went at popular times (evenings and weekends) so I imagine it would be less crazy during the day.

This is a great gym with a lot of good equipment for strength training and many cardio machines…read more They offer personal trainers, physiotherapy, lockers, tanning tables and vending machines with protein drinks and bars. The gym is clean and has all kinds of people, not only fanatics or super skinny and fit people. Everyone seems really laid back. You can work out with a view to the channel outside too. They don't have any classes though, at all. The closest thing is a virtual spinning class with a big screen tv.
