I found Escamilla's Party rental on Yelp. I made a few calls and sent a few messages to other companies but nobody was as responsive as these guys. I was planning a quinceanera and wanted to see a showroom and some color options for tablecloths. Sandra invited me to see their showroom and made an arrangement for me to see it on a weeknight as I don't work in the area and have a long commute. My wife and I checked out the showroom and liked some options there. We ran through a list of items to quote but were unsure how many tables we would be able to fit in my dog-bone shaped backyard. Sandra and Henry came out a week later to check it out and we made some decisions and paid a deposit. We rented 8 round tables, tablecloths and overlays; 64 chairs and napkins; a 12' X 12' dance floor; 3 large ice chests; a coffee percolator; and string lights. They delivered a day before the party and set up the string lights and dance floor for us and we set up the rest. We had everything we needed and everything worked out as planned. I wish I had taken pictures of the yard before the party started as I was cleaning up to the last minute since Amazon cleaning services failed to show up the day before. Henry showed up the next morning to take the stuff back. I would definitely use them again as they had great customer service, were prompt and on-time and returned telephone calls and text messages. EPR has a great selection of rentals. I rented 4 tables, 22 ghost chairs, charger plates, water glasses, champagne classes and water carafes for a Birthday Brunch. I have rented from them before and really like their selection of chairs so I decided to use them again even tho I was having them deliver to Redlands this time. I knew the delivery fee would be more costly--but they had what I wanted and I've used them before so I didn't mind. Delivery wasn't a problem, I didn't have to be home for them to drop off. All the glassware wasn't exactly clean. It wasn't dirty per say but I saw residue and some crusties of whatever was in them from a previous rental. They definitely weren't "ready to use" upon delivery--totally fine, I had planned to wash them myself when I received them anyways. No big deal. What was a bit of a hiccup was that while I was washing the water carafes the night before the party, I came across one that was chipped on the top lip. I realized after I cut my finger from accidentally running my fingers over it while washing. I thought it was in bad taste they would send me something broken, so I set it aside and did not use it because I didn't want anyone else to cut themselves. Then, after the event i received a text saying they were going to charge me for the damage of the chipped carafe. I politely let them know that it was already like that and I didn't use it for that reason. They didn't end up charging me but word of advice, if you see something broken, let them know immediately because it seems as though they don't check their stuff very well before it's delivered to you. All in all, they have a great selection of rentals and were very nice otherwise. This rental company is not honest. I brought my business to them, not having any problems until drop off came. They claim to give you an appointment drop off time but they don't. When they did finally drop off, they didn't communicate until arrival so we weren't aware of when to expect drop off. They then dropped off a broken table, that I was unaware of because they left the tables folded up and stacked. When we went to set up the tables is when we realized one was broken. When they arrived for pick up they continued to blame me for the broken table and used a photo of the tables folded up to "prove" the table was not broken prior to drop off. This photo does not show how one of the tables legs were unusable since they were folded up. I was then charged for the table without notice. Do not use this rental company. read more

The Tent with sidewalls was delivered and installed and the installers were very professional. This is not the first time we have used them. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. I had used them several times before including ordering tents with sidewalls, a bar and chairs and tables and I will continue to use them when we have parties and I highly recommend them. Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered 8 farm tables for my wedding from this company and what I got was no where near what is advertised on the site. The tables were scratched beyond belief and the driver's assembling them were dragging them across concrete scratching them even more! When I mentioned they were ruining them more they proceeded to get a BLACK SHARPIE and fill in the chips. These are farm tables not intended to be covered by a tablecloth. They were banged up and tacky looking because of the marker. They did not handle my complaint like a business should and only offered be 10% thats even one table free of the 8 I ordered and Only 3 were in working condition. They said "we will talk to our driver about it". What does talking to the driver do? It HELPS YOU and insure it doesn't happen to other customers. That doesn't help a unsatisfied customer. When I asked for more they made it seem like I was taking advantage and asking for too much because "they did their job and delivered and set up the tables". Owner was snarky and rude. In short: we do NOT recommend Escamilla because they failed to deliver a few of the items we rented and paid for. We found Escamilla and chose them because of their almost-five star Yelp rating. For our Fall evening wedding,​ we rented 8' tables, linens, chairs, a dance floor and six heaters. We visited their showroom to get a visual on everything and to pay our deposit. PROS: They were very helpful and responsive before the sale/event, over the phone and in-person too. Prices are not too expensive. They delivered on-time (actually a little earlier, which was great) and the man who dropped off the furniture was​ friendly. CONS: 3 of the 6 heaters were faulty! We had to tape the control knob down to keep the flames from dying. 1 heater worked for a few minutes and died completely. Needless to say,​ some of our guests were cold! Luckily we bought 2 extra heaters from Amazon as a ​backup and we definitely had to use them! They also didn't deliver a couple of the tables and linens that we paid for. These extra items were added after our initial order list and we were definitely charged for them. We had to scramble to provide tables for our caterer. Fortunately, we found some tables from the venue and our caterer brought their own linens that night. Poor after-sale customer service. We have tried to get a hold of them to explain what went wrong after our wedding but they have not returned our text messages. Update: they responded to the Yelp review (of course) but still haven't replied to our texts at this time. BOTTOM LINE: Check that everything is present at the ​time of delivery (we were too busy setting up to do this) and that their heaters will stay on longer than 5 minutes before you pay the rest of your balance. Also, have some backup plans in place in case things go south. read more

This business refuses to give me a deposit of $600 back after I have canceled 30 days in advance, not to mention it was beyond difficult to get ahold of anyone or add and change my order. I had to cancel due to a death in the family, it was unfortunate, and now I have to deal with this. How hard can it be to give me back my money so I could still be a future costumer rather than take my money and not recommend anyone to you. Not much I can do about it but it seems like a ridiculous amount for a deposit. They offer to postpone the order so that you don't lose out on the deposit but that's not going to help me in this case. Prices are alright. Though I wouldn't do business with them again. Edit: also they don't seem to like to interact with people by phone. Every time I had a question they would direct me to their main website and I had to hunt down the information myself. They were professional, respectful and worked fast. They have really competitive prices and yes I will use them again. Would love to leave a 0 star. I don't leave reviews very often but I do leave negative reviews on business that people should know about. My fiancée at the time had found this place to use some decor and miscellaneous decorations for our wedding a week ago. Everything was going fine until one week before our wedding. Our wedding was on a Saturday and they had let us know the Monday before that they can't drop equipment off on Saturdays. So they would have to come Thursday or Friday. However our venue told us that vendors can only drop off on Saturday (which we had told this business). Escamillas only told me on Monday that they could drop their equipment off. I had called escamillas asking if they could drop it off on Sat and they said it would cost extra. When I asked how much, they wanted to charge me an extra $750! (The original total was only $550). I told them I would call back because I had to talk with my fiancée. They only gave me 24 hrs notice or they would cancel. I called them again later that day after making a fuss about the outrageous add on, and they told me that they can't talk to anyone who isn't on the contract (my fiancée was the only person on the contract and she was at work). They ended up cancelling everything. I called them back AGAIN and they talked to me this time saying "Sorry we are fully booked now." The customer service here is awful and they have a huge lack of communication. They ended up blaming everything on my fiancée. My fiancée was so upset. We made it work. The worst I've ever dealt with! They set up a crooked ass tent in my yard. Why the hell would I want a crooked tent?!! So unprofessional and don't take any pride in their work. Rented 9 tables 72 chairs and 13 linens, they arrived a day before the event with only one female unloading and delivering all that i had rented, she had no help and nothing was set up just stacked along my home for myself and sister to set up, me being pregnant it was difficult for me to do this also i didn't realize til the day of our event that they had shorted me 4 table linens, this made me a bit stressed but i called and they delivered them that morning, although we had everything we rented the linens were all different sizes and different shades of red which was pretty annoying considering I'm a bit ocd and paid for specifics....needless to say i will not be using this company again nor will i refer them to anyone. read more
