UPDATE 05-06-14: Last week, I was contacted about my 1 year old google review by the owner John Lauth who informed me that if I had a problem with his company, I was to bring it up with him and not post it on a "public forum". This morning, a co-worker mentioned our business account had been closed (I am a sales person in an office, this review was based on my personal experience with the company). When I called Courier Connection to ask why, I was placed on hold and John Lauth picked up the phone. He informed me that my below review was "like slander" and if it were to remain online, he could not do business with us because "they could miss their time commitment and we could post a negative review that cost him money". John Lauth is fully within his right to refuse business. The method of which he went about it reflects my updated review. Honestly, when I first heard from John about my original review, I thought; "awesome, here is a man running a 100+ employee company addressing the issues head on asking me about the decline in service and what I might recommend for getting my review back to 5 stars". Instead, he made me feel degraded and how I should know better about how the courier service works. It's not their fault it took over 6 hours to deliver a 2 hour package 33 miles because it was a friday and there was congestion on 285 after 3pm (we called for pickup at noon). Full disclosure: the delivery driver had to wait 30 minutes to pickup up the package. There are many courier services in Atlanta.
